Her last two runs were placed efforts, albeit against weaker opposition than she faces today. She’ll run to her level and represents value against two unproven rivals.

Tip 2 - 2:48 Musselburgh - Monhammer

Monhammer loves this track and trip, having won at Musselburgh four times in his career and twice here earlier this year. A mark of 55 is not beyond him considering he has won off 64 previously. Kelpie Grey might have gone close yesterday, but running on back-to-back days is a lot to ask of a horse who struggles to put consistent performances together.

Tip 3 - 3:07 Catterick - Star of Jupiter

Star of Jupiter boasts a solid track record over course and distance, having picked up a couple of thirds here last year and a second last month. He’s still chasing his first win on turf but has always fared well over 2m, boasting lifetime form of 23322, and he should go well again today with Luke Morris on board.

Tip 4 - 3:23 Musselburgh - Brandenburg

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time.

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
