Tip 1 - 2:00 Leicester - See Amna
The standard set by Kach Above doesn’t look an insurmountable one so this could go to one of the debutants in the field. See Amna is very well bred and is related to a few good horses. The yard is having a great season with their young horses this year, suggesting they aren’t leaving much behind when they hit the track for the first time. If See Amna has anything about her she should be winning this.

Tip 2 - 2:15 Carlisle - Stirrup Cup
A course and distance winner here little under two years ago, Stirrup Cup is back for another bite of the cherry after a couple of near misses at Thirsk in April. The four-year-old finished second over this distance on his first run of 2026, being edged out by only a neck, before coming third a week later in a field of 18. His attempt at Class 4 led to nothing and so stepping back down a grade today should put him right back in the mix.

Six furlongs with some give underfoot looks to be ideal for Woolisle. Those were the conditions she had last time out, on seasonal debut, at Haydock. She was second, beaten a length that day, but was well clear of the third. With form figures of 212 in her last three runs, she appears to be finding her stride. She’s gone up two pounds for her recent comeback, but promising claimer Mason Patel takes five off.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?
We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.
A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time.
For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
