Tip 1 - 2:00 Bath - Bohemian Breeze
Bohemian Breeze has endured a testing 2026 with a pair of nothing results at Lingfield in January, but his latest trip last month was much better and that gives hope he can build on that. Those races were all on all-weather and the six-year-old usually fares much better on turf, having gone 412342 last year, so should go well at a career low mark that Jude Fernandes takes 7lbs off of.

After opening his season running over a trip that’s never really seen him to best effect, Rating returns to 1m2. He likes the track here having never been outside of the top 3 and having dropped to just 2lb above his last winning mark he looks dangerous in a weak looking contest.

Tip 3 - 3:15 Lingfield - St Hilda
Plenty of unknowns in this race, with a handful making their debut and others having just their second career run. There was a lot to like about St Kilda’s debut effort here at Lingfield five months ago. Outpaced in the middle of the race, she eventually found her stride and ran on to be fourth. This trip is expected to be much more to her liking based on that run and indeed her breeding. If fully wound up for her comeback, she could well deliver on that debut promise.

Tip 4 - 3:45 Lingfield - Tiger Crusade
El Matador looks to have the most potential of these, but he showed very little in valuable Class 2s last year to suggest he should be as short as he is in the betting. First race since September and on the all-weather creates too many questions. Form is also a question mark for Tiger Crusade having beaten only one other horse from last two outings, but his record over course and distance is strong. Two wins and a place from four attempts. Last one was a good second from two pounds higher in February and is back to last winning mark of 83.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?
We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.
A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time.
For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
