The Grand National is almost upon us, but there’s much more going on this week at Aintree than just that one race. In all, Aintree hosts 21 races and 11 Grade 1s in its three-day meeting, which gets underway on Thursday.

The Tote will ensure there’s plenty to play for too, as they’re guaranteeing a minimum placepot pool of £500,000 every day at Aintree. With such a big meeting, the pools are likely to be bursting at the seams. Guaranteeing such a big pot is a great initiative though, and one which is sure to pique the interest of horse racing punters.

Tote Offers For Aintree

On top of the guaranteed placepot pools, there are plenty of Tote offers available throughout Aintree.

Tote Guarantee – bet via the Tote betting site or app and winning bets on the Win market will be paid at either the SP or Tote dividend – whichever is bigger.

Tote Plus – it is possible to bet into Tote pools with most of the best betting sites. However, betting directly with the Tote via their site or app will result in a 10% bonus on top of winnings for selected markets.

Thanks to the Tote+ offer, the Tote payout for all 40 runners in the 2022 Grand National was greater than the SP. This is a fantastic offer, which is effectively a price boost on every single runner.

Free Placepot on Grand National Day – Tote are giving all customers a free shot at the placepot on Saturday. This is available to new and existing customers, so be sure to sign up ahead of Saturday to claim your free placepot on the Grand National Day.

Tote Welcome Offer – new Tote customers will receive a £10 welcome bonus for a limited time. The welcome offer is available here at Bookies.com, via the link found below.

Tote Fantasy – available every day, including during the Grand National meeting, Tote Fantasy gives horse racing bettors something new and exciting. Entry costs £7, choose your stable for the day based on the runners and your available budget in the game, outscore other entries and win cash prizes.

Tote Fantasy is an innovative, exciting way to get your day’s racing entertainment in one place. It’s exclusively available on the Tote betting site, so you won’t find it anywhere else.

Placepots Explained

Placepots are available on all UK and Irish horse racing meetings. Make a selection or selections in each of the first six races on the card. Your selection needs to place in the race in order to be a winning choice. If you have a placed selection in all six races, your bet is a winner.

Multiple horses can be chosen in the same race in order to spread your liabilities, but this will increase your stake. As a pool bet, the payout, known as the dividend, is based on the number of people who won. If favourites place in every race, chances are more people chose them, so the payout will be lower.

If there are lots of outsiders placed throughout the day, then you could be looking at a huge dividend. Thanks to the guaranteed minimum pool of £500,000 each day during Aintree, the payouts are sure to be fairly healthy.
