Paddy Power Free Bets: Get 50/1 on Man Utd to Beat Sabah in Champions League

Sep 10th, 2026 12:18 PM EDT

Manchester United kick off their Champions League season on Thursday night against a team most casual fans will have never heard of in Sabah, who hail from Azerbaijan.

It is not necessarily going to be a vintage night in the Champions League at Old Trafford but there will be a sense of optimism in the air at returning to the big time, and with the expectation of starting with a win. So much so that most betting sites have United as short as 2/15 to take all three points, which is hardly surprising given that Sabah's previous furthest foray into Europe came when they were knocked out of Conference League qualifying last season.

United's Premier League season hasn't quite started as they would have liked with four points from three games, but this could be the perfect opportunity to boost morale.

Given the return of the Champions League, betting apps are throwing out offers thick and fast for the opening week, but few are better than the new customer betting offer from Paddy Power where you can get a massive 50/1 on Man Utd to beat Sabah.

Given the perceived gulf between the two teams at most football betting sites, being able to get 50/1 on a home win at Old Trafford for Michael Carrick and Co. is an incredible offer worth considering.
