It all comes down to Sunday night as Sydney Roosters and Newcastle Knights do battle for immortality in the NRL Grand Final at Accor Stadium, Sydney.

The competition has largely been dominated by Penrith Panthers in recent years but their bid to retain the crown they won four times in a row between 2021 and 2024 was ended in stunning fashion by the Knights.

Despite losing Phoenix Crossland to an early red card in the Preliminary Final, Newcastle - who finished seventh on the NRL Ladder - showed stunning resolve to recover from 14-6 down and reach a first Grand Final since 2001.

Their opponents on Sunday night will be Sydney Roosters, who are no strangers to the Grand Final after winning it in 2018 and 2019. Trent Robinson's men finished fourth on the NRL Ladder and earned their spot in Sunday's showpiece with a thrilling 36-20 victory over the Dolphins.

As ever with the Grand Final, Australian betting sites have an exciting range of markets for the night of action. Read on to find the top betting sites in Australia for all your NRL bets.

NRL Grand Final 2026 Betting Odds

Few would have predicted a Roosters vs Knights Grand Final way back in February, or even in August considering both teams ended the regular season with a string of defeats.

However, both earned their spot in the Grand Final with impressive Finals performances and it's sure to be an exciting evening of footy on Sunday. Roosters are comfortable favourites but the Knights will be buoyed by their wins over the Panthers and New Zealand Warriors.

Betfair Rugby League Betting

Betfair is unique in Australia as this is the only betting site in the country that operates as a betting exchange, rather than as a fixed-odds betting site like the other options on this page. A betting exchange allows you to place bets on the Grand Final as usual, but it also allows you to lay them, which effectively turns you into the bookmaker.

Rugby League Betting Apps

The great thing about NRL betting sites is that there are always betting apps for people who prefer to make wagers on their phone rather than on a computer. Mobile apps are generally designed to feel exactly the same as the main desktop site so you can seamlessly switch between the two, with apps also having the added beauty of push notifications for upcoming events and updates on your bets.

They're also perfect for using on the move if you aren't able to access a computer and they also usually have some sort of biometric login like Face ID for added security and speedy logging in.

NRL Grand Final Betting Markets

There's usually upwards of 100 NRL betting markets on any single game and this number gets even bigger on the likes of the Grand Final and State of Origin. From match result and handicaps to points totals and anytime tryscorers, there's something for everyone.

Same Game Multis are a fun innovation of recent years as these allow you to combine a few selections from the same game into a single bet. For example, you could choose which team will win in tandem with the scorer of the first try in the game.

NRL Grand Final Betting Tips

Despite the odds showing Sydney Roosters as clear favourites, this Grand Final is still difficult to call. Newcastle have displayed strong defence in the Finals so far, conceding just 34 points across three games, and have a job on their hand to nullify the Roosters attack that has scored 66 across their last two.

The Knights may need to up their points output to keep pace and if they're succeed, Dom Young is likely to be at the front of it all. The winger scored 23 tries this season and has touched down in all three Finals games so far for Newcastle. Sydney's defence isn't the strongest and he has a great chance of getting on the scoresheet once again.

Back Dominic Young to score a try at 2.38 with Unibet.
