Fans of sports betting in Connecticut, your time has finally come. Starting at 6 a.m. ET on Tuesday morning, legal online sports betting will launch in earnest.

After a one-week soft launch within the state, which was available only to select customers at select times of day (and for select events), everyone will now be able to join in on the action. The legal sportsbooks at your fingertips will be FanDuel, SugarHouse and DraftKings, while FanDuel and DraftKings will also offer casino gaming.

Tuesday’s launch ensures sports bettors will have time to gear up for Week 7 of the NFL season, as well as college football betting, early action in NBA betting, the NHL and more.

One of the best parts about getting started with sports betting is finding a welcome offer that works for you. Let’s take a closer look at the three sports betting sites coming to Connecticut.

Signing Up In Connecticut

SugarHouse, operated by the Connecticut Lottery, will match your first deposit up to $250. When you sign up, use the SugarHouse promo code “GAMBLING250” while making your first deposit. Any initial deposit of $250 or fewer will be doubled. Other sportsbooks may offer larger deposit bonuses, but few allow bettors to access their bonus funds as quickly as SugarHouse. Its 1x play-through system means you unlock a dollar of bonus cash for every dollar of real cash wagered. The other SugarHouse-branded sportsbook is located in New Jersey, as the parent company has used the BetRivers brand elsewhere.

FanDuel, operated by the Mohegan Tribe, is offering a risk-free bet worth up $1,000 for first-time bettors. After signing up for the sports betting app and placing your first bet, you’ll essentially have two tries at a win. Either your bet wins, or your bet loses and the FanDuel promo code awards you with site credit to use on future wagers. FanDuel has one of the most well-known and established sportsbook brands in the U.S., and Connecticut represents its 12th state of operation.

DraftKings, operated by the Mashantucket Pequot Tribe, has a 20% first-deposit match bonus worth up to $1,000, plus an NFL special in which you can bet $1 and get $200. High-dollar promotions and quick payouts are part of DraftKings’ reputation.

Connecticut Online Casinos Also Launch Tuesday

CT residents will be able to play slots, blackjack, video poker and more at Connecticut online casinos with the same launch Tuesday morning. Casino fans in the state will have access to two online casinos: FanDuel Casino and DraftKings Casino. SugarHouse, because of its partnership with the CT Lottery, can’t offer a casino product.

FanDuel Casino’s national offer for new customers is 24 hours of risk-free play in which customers receive their losses back as site credits, up to $1,000. DraftKings Casino’s offer has been a 100% match up to $2,000 on a first deposit plus $50 in free casino credits.

Connecticut joins a select group of states offering a full plate of gaming options (poker is coming soon), joining the likes of Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
