With mobile sports betting in New York officially live as of Saturday morning, our reporter Jasmine McKoy sat down to speak with Ken Fuchs, head of sports for Caesars Digital, about its sports betting app debuting in the Empire State, one of four betting platforms to do so at 9 a.m. ET.

“In some ways, we have been preparing for years. New York is New York. It is an unbeatable market in terms of the sports fans, passion for the teams and the history and for us at Caesars, we are very proud to be one of the first operators to launch,” Fuchs said. “For us we have been preparing with technology and making sure everything is running smoothly and assuring that it’s just a great, great customer experience.

”We have partnerships with Madison Square Garden (MSG), the Knicks, the Rangers and several others coming so we are going to hit the ground running really, really hard in the state.”

One of the top U.S. sportsbooks, Caesars has odds and markets on nearly every sporting event, including for NFL betting, NBA betting, NHL betting, MLB betting and more.

Last November, MSG announced a multi-year marketing partnership with Caesars Sportsbook New York, naming Caesars an official sports betting partner of the New York Knicks, New York Rangers, Madison Square Garden Arena and MSG Networks.

Within the Garden itself, Caesars Sportsbook will have a branded, premium hospitality space that will be open for all Knicks and Rangers games, as well as additional select events. The space will undergo a full refurbishment leading into the 2022-23 seasons of both the Knicks and Rangers.

The Knicks should be popular in New York for NBA betting.

Caesars Branding in MSG

Once completed, the space will be highlighted with Caesars Sportsbook branding and feature unique programming, including special guest appearances, giveaways, and enhanced activations, all available through Caesars Rewards.

Caesars also will get TV visible signage, in-arena LED messaging, GardenVision features in the Garden and activations on the court and ice during Knicks and Rangers games. Digital boards outside of Madison Square Garden and in the new Moynihan Train Hall also will feature Caesars Sportsbook branding.

“The Caesars New York sports betting experience will be a tremendous amount of fun for sports bettors and fans. That’s the one thing I can promise,” Fuchs said. “It will be a really easy experience in terms of signing up, getting money onto the app, finding what you want to bet on, tracking your bets and of course, for Caesars, the industry-leading rewards program.

”So every single time you bet, the potential payout of that bet turns into Caesars Rewards points, whether you win or lose.”

Caesars Expanding in US

Following Saturday’s launch, the Caesars Sportsbook app is live in 21 states, 15 of which are mobile.

Caesars has already had a presence in New York. In partnership with Oneida Nation Enterprises, the two entities have worked together since the very beginning of sports betting within the Empire State. The Lounge with Caesars Sports, its retail sportsbook within the state, is currently located at Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, less than four hours from Manhattan.

After Saturday's successful launch, you can now bet like Caesar.
