Brooklyn Nets forward Michael Porter Jr. is having the best season of his career, so he is a player to watch for customers at sports betting sites as the Feb. 5 NBA Trade Deadline nears.

With Porter potentially on the move ahead of the NBA Trade Deadline, Bookies.com has put together hypothetical betting odds on Michael Porter Jr. Next Team Odds for where his next destination could be.

Michael Porter Jr. Trade Odds (Before 2026 Deadline)

TeamOddsPct. Chance

Milwaukee Bucks+45018.2%
Detroit Pistons+90010.0%
Chicago Bulls+18005.3%
Golden State Warriors+30003.2%

Porter has had a breakout season in Brooklyn after arriving from the Denver Nuggets last summer, averaging nearly 25 points per game. Some reports suggest that the Nets might wait until the offseason to deal him, but Porter remains a popular “contender upgrade” name with teams sniffing around.

Porter, along with a first-round pick, was traded as a cap dump by the Nuggets last year for Cameron Johnson. Porter has improved his trade value significantly since joining the Nets. The seventh-year small forward has roughly $79.1 million left on his contract between this year and next year. That makes a trade difficult, but he’s a candidate to be traded because he is having a solid season. Check out our NBA betting guide as well.

Brooklyn Nets (-110)

The Nets did well in their trade with the Denver Nuggets, as Porter has been much better than Johnson this year; Brooklyn also picked up Denver’s unprotected first-round draft pick in 2032. The Nets already won this trade. But if they sell high on Porter and acquire even more draft picks and prospects, it would make this trade a major home run for general manager Sean Marks.

Milwaukee Bucks (+450)

The Milwaukee Bucks could miss the playoffs this year, and they could also trade franchise player Giannis Antetokounmpo. Still, if the Bucks want to make a last-ditch effort to keep their superstar, they could look to acquire Porter and get the big man some more help.

Detroit Pistons (+900)

The Detroit Pistons are a terrific team that looks like it could win the NBA Championship this year; at BetRivers Sportsbook, they have +1600 odds to do just that. Still, Detroit should seek to upgrade where they can. So if Porter is available in a trade, the Pistons need to at least make a phone call and see what he would cost.

Chicago Bulls (+1800)

The Chicago Bulls are one of the most famous franchises in the NBA, but they have been extremely disappointing in recent years. The team figures to make a few big trades ahead of the deadline, with players like Coby White, Zach Collins, and Nikola Vucevic potentially on the move. If the Bulls want to pull the trigger on someone such as Porter, they would have the salary to match the Nets in a trade, plus they could attach some draft picks to him. The Bulls are +275 to make the playoffs at Caesars Sportsbook and -390 to miss out.

Golden State Warriors (+3000)

The Golden State Warriors have been linked to Porter in a trade, which makes sense because he would be a serious upgrade on the wing for them. Still, given the limitations of the tax apron, it would be difficult for the Warriors to trade for Porter without gutting their depth, making Golden State a long shot.

The Field (+700)

With Porter having such a strong season, any team with cap space or with contracts that can match the money should at least inquire with the Nets about the cost.
