France, Portugal Set For Euro 2016 final rematch

France started Euro 2020 as the favorite at the top sportsbooks, and it lived up to that billing when it kicked off its tournament with a 1-0 victory over Group F rivals Germany. Portugal will pose another stern test on Wednesday in a rematch of the Euro 2016 final.

On that occasion, Portugal won its first European Championship 1-0 thanks to Eder’s extra-time goal. Following that disappointment, France bounced back in impressive fashion to win the World Cup in Russia in 2018, beating Croatia 4-2 in the final.

Much of that World Cup-winning team remains in Didier Deschamps’ squad this summer, solidifying France's status with many of the sports betting sites as the team to beat at Euro 2020.
