A.J. Brown led the Super Bowl-bound Philadelphia Eagles in receiving yards and touchdowns, by a wide margin. His production hasn’t come close to that in the Eagles’ two NFL Playoff games so far – but with wins by 31 and 24 points, they haven’t had to use Brown much.

With Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs looming at Super Bowl 57 in Glendale, the Eagles will need all their offensive weapons to keep pace and bring home a second Lombardi Trophy in five seasons.

Anytime Touchdown

Odds: +127 at Caesars Sportsbook

Brown has just one touchdown in the last six weeks combined, a far cry from the 10 TDs in the first 13 games of the season. In the first two playoff games for Philly, Brown managed only seven receptions for 50 yards and zero scores, albeit in blowout wins in which the run game took control.

He should be able to find a spot here against a Chiefs defense that’s allowed 20 TDs to receivers, second-most in the NFL. When Brown performs, Philly succeeds; the Eagles are 7-1 and the offense averages 30.9 ppg when Brown hits paydirt.

Over 71.5 Receiving Yards

Odds: -120 at DraftKings

We’re all-in on Brown having a big Super Bowl Sunday. His size (225 pounds, roughly 30-40 pounds heavier than any corner on the Chiefs roster) offers a massive advantage against a KC secondary that hasn’t fared well against far-lesser receivers than Brown.

The Eagles are unbeaten when Brown receives at least 10 targets and the Chiefs allow 20.2 targets to WRs per game. DeVonta Smith is a force in his own right, but all that ensures is the Chiefs can’t focus too much on Brown, whose serious physical advantages should permit gains long and short.

A.J. Brown -0.5 TDs over Isiah Pacheco

Odds: +235 at DraftKings

Brown hasn’t been scoring lately, but the Chiefs aren’t good on the edges defensively, and this is the reason the Eagles went big in acquiring the 225-pound WR last offseason.

Just as big for the Eagles is keeping Pacheco out of the end zone. The rookie RB has emerged as the top option in the run game for KC. But Jerick McKinnon is getting touches and Clyde Edwards-Helaire may play some role, too.

Despite Pacheco’s impressive play of late, he has just two TDs the last seven games. We’ll take the odds at online sportsbooks at better than 2-for-1 that Brown scores and Pacheco doesn’t.

Super Bowl MVP – A.J. Brown

Odds: +1500 at Caesars Sportsbook

Jalen Hurts is a strong candidate to win Super Bowl MVP honors if the Eagles emerge victorious. QBs have accounted for over 60% of all MVPs won in the big game.

But receivers who put up big numbers in the big game get noticed, and I expect a big game from the Eagles’ top free agent recruit.

Brown has certainly been up-and-down; expect a huge performance in a game that the Eagles will need him in and one where he poses strong advantages on the edge.

He can punch in two scores and have a productive day between the end zones. These are solid odds on the No. 1 WR of the favored side.
