49ers at Seahawks, 8:15 p.m. (Prime Video)

Buzz: The Niners have won 3 straight against Seattle. Seahawks QB Geno Smith has been enjoying exceptionable pass protection of late. Both defenses will keep this one close. And low scoring.

Jaguars vs. Bears (London), 9:30 p.m. (NFL Network)

Buzz: The early line on this game had the Bears at 1-point underdogs. The Bears' money line at -108 is a terrific value play. No matter what Jacksonville does at home against Indianapolis in Week 5, they won’t be ready for the Bears' defense. A loss for the Jaguars could leave Doug Pederson stranded in London.

Cardinals at Packers, 1 p.m. (FOX)

Buzz: Jordan Love, Kyler Murray, Marvin Harrison Jr. Lots of points. Right? Not so fast. The total in this game is worth watching. Right now, it’s priced too high. But any movement to 48 or below might be worth another look.

Colts at Titans, 1 p.m. (CBS)

Buzz: Anthony Richardson might finally get that breakout game he’s longed for since his NFL debut last season. The Colts have shown signs of improvement. The Titans are headed in the wrong direction. This is a good early number and may spike after Week 5. The over on 42 points is also appealing.

Texans at Patriots, 1 p.m. (CBS)

Buzz: The Patriots are coming off a home game against the equally woeful Dolphins. This season is on its way to equate with some of the worst in Patriots’ history. And we’re not just talking about 2023. The Texans are rolling to another AFC South title. Getting the Texans under a touchdown here is the play. But for now, we’ll take the under on 41.5 points. This one could shrink considerably.

Buccaneers at Saints, 1 p.m. (FOX)

Buzz: The Buccaneers complete back-to-back road games against their top 2 competitors in the NFC South with their annual visit to the Crescent City. They're coming off a disastrous loss at Atlanta. Tampa Bay's defense was shredded by Kirk Cousins. Derek Carr has got to be revved up watching that file. These NFC South intra-conference games are always tight. The last team with the ball wins.

Browns at Eagles, 1 p.m. (FOX)

Buzz: Nick Sirianni keeps his job for another week. Or not.

Buzz: Derrick Henry up the middle. Wash. Rinse. Repeat. Commanders QB Jayden Daniels takes a big leap on the rookie learning curve this week. This is what we euphuistically call an “educational opportunity.”

Chargers at Broncos, 4:05 p.m. (CBS)

Buzz: The Broncos’ defense has given Bo Nix a nice cushion, hiding just how not good he’s been this season. The Broncos aren’t getting much respect from oddsmakers this season. Getting points at home is a nice value here.

Buzz: The “Immaculate Reception” meets “Cirque du Soleil.” Where’s Franco Harris when you need him.
