Three of the top four teams favored to win Super Bowl 58 odds have something in common during Week 10 NFL betting season: they’re all on the bye.

The Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins are taking a week off after their rock fight in Frankfurt, Germany in Week 9. The Eagles, who held off Dallas with goal-line stop at the gun Sunday, are also off this week, as well as the Los Angeles Rams.

The lack of NFL team star power will certainly affect betting handles across the nation’s legal books and betting apps. But that doesn’t mean you have to take a bye when it comes to responsibly wagering on the NFL.

The best matchups in terms of team talent happen early in the day. The Browns visit the Ravens in a battle – surprise – for bragging rights in the AFC North. And the San Francisco 49ers travel cross country to face the Jaguars in Jacksonville.

The FOX national game at 4:25 p.m. ET Sunday looked compelling when the season schedule was produced. The New York Giants venture into Jerry World to face the Cowboys. Dallas is in the hunt in the NFC East. The Giants lost Daniel Jones for the season Sunday and may be headed for the Bill Belichick Sweepstakes.

The Exi-Box returns to NFL RedZone this week with just 6 games in the 1 p.m. Sunday slot.

Week 10 begins Thursday in Chicago with the Bears entertaining the Panthers. The Patriots and Colts play in the Sunday morning time slot in Frankfurt, Germany. That game kicks off at 9:30 a.m. EST on NFL Network.

Bye Week: As noted above, four teams are on the bye this week: Kansas City, Philadelphia, Miami, and the Los Angeles Rams.

Now it’s on to our Week 10 NFL picks to back on your sports betting app:

Sunday, November 12

New England Patriots vs. Indianapolis Colts at Germany, 9:30 a.m. (NFL)

The Patriots may want to stay overseas with a loss here. The Colts will try to win overseas with Gardner Minshew at QB. Bill Belichick appears to have lost his old magic. His vaunted defense got torn up by Sam Howell and the Commanders Sunday. New England is scoring just 14.8 PPG (31st), while its famed defense is allowing 26.0 PPG (26th). The Patriots are an AFC-worst 2-7 outright and ATS and are dead last in the playoff hunt. They opened as 5-point favorites. The Colts are now -2. Geht Colts!

Best Bet: Colts -2 (-110) with DraftKings Sportsbook

Cleveland Browns at Baltimore Ravens, 1 p.m. (FOX)

The AFC North has become the most competitive division in the NFL. If the season ended today, all four AFC North teams would be in the playoffs. The Browns are just one of the big surprises here. They crushed the Cardinals in Week 9. The Ravens won the earlier matchup between these two teams 28-3 on October 1 in Cleveland. Deshaun Watson should continue to improve this week, at least enough to cover.

Best Bet: Browns +5.5 (-110) with DraftKings Sportsbook

Houston Texans at Cincinnati Bengals, 1 p.m. (CBS)

A slow start left the Bengals limping. But they rallied from a slow start last year to reach the AFC title game. They are following a similar path this year.  Joe Burrow is moving slowly in to the MVP conversation. C.J. Stroud emerged as the class of this rookie class with his crazy-good comeback Sunday. Even though unders are all the rage this season. we're going against the tide here.

Best Bet: Over 46.5 Points (-110) with DraftKings Sportsbook

San Francisco 49ers at Jacksonville Jaguars, 1 p.m. (FOX)

An intriguing matchup – potentially – between the No. 1 player taken in the 2020 NFL Draft and the final player chosen in the 2022 NFL Draft. QB Trevor Lawrence has lived up to the expectations he brought to the River City as the first pick three years ago. San Francisco sophomore QB Brock Purdy won 15 straight NFL regular-season starts. His team has since lost three straight. The Jaguars have won 5 in a row. And they're at home early against a West Coast team getting points. A good deal.

Best Bet: Jaguars +2.5 (-105) with DraftKings Sportsbook

New Orleans Saints at Minnesota Vikings, 1 p.m. (FOX)

Saints head coach Dennis Allen and his Vikings counterpart Kevin O’Connell are potential candidates to be fired at the end of this season. If not sooner.  Loser here . . . yikes. Both won in Week 9, with Joshua Dobbs showing up in Minnesota mid-week and leading the Vikings past the Falcons. The Saints have failed to cover in 6 straight games against NFC team. Let's make it 7.

Best Bet: Vikings +2.5 (-110) with DraftKings Sportsbook

Green Bay Packers at Pittsburgh Steelers, 1 p.m. (CBS)

Behind T.J. Watt and their defense, the Steelers have kept things close this season and enter this game 5-3 coming off an extended break. This game suits their strength. A clean performance by Kenny Pickett will be enough for the home team to get the win. Pittsburgh keeps it on the ground and Green Bay is 26th against the run.

Best Bet: Steelers -3.5 (-110) with DraftKings Sportsbook

Tennessee Titans at Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Sunday, 1 p.m. (CBS)

This line has flipped. It opened with the Titans -1 on the road. Now the Bucs are 1-point favorites. At least the weather should be nice. The Bucs collapsed in the final minute in Houston Sunday and gave up 39 points, 470 yards passing, and 5 TDs to C.J. Stroud and the Texans. Another rookie QB, Will Levis, get his crack at Tampa Bay this week. Tampa Bay has lost 4 straight, has failed to cover in 8 straight after a loss, and appears on the verge of tapping out for 2023. Even at home.

Atlanta Falcons at Arizona Cardinals, Sunday, 4:05 p.m. (CBS)

The Cardinals could choose between Clayton Tune and Kyler Murray this week at QB. The Falcons and their QB Of The Day (Taylor Heinicke) face a challenging road test at State Farm Stadium. If they want to win the NFC South, these are the sorts of non divisional matchups that will be pivotal in any tie breaking situation.

Best Bet: Under 42 Points. (-110) with DraftKings Sportsbook

Detroit Lions at Los Angeles Chargers, 4:05 p.m. (CBS)

This line has shifted 3.5 points since it opened with LA as 2.5-point favorites. The Lions are now 1-point road favorites. No worry. Expect to see and hear plenty of Lions fans at SoFi. Detroit fans travel surprisingly well. And for the first time in decades, those Lions fans have reason to cheer in November. Lions QB Jared Goff returns to his home state, where he played college and pro ball with the Cal Golden Bears and LA Rams.

Best Bet: Lions ML (-120) with DraftKings Sportsbook

New York Giants at Dallas Cowboys, 4:25 p.m. (FOX)

The FOX national game gives us an NFC East classic showdown that has lost its fizzle. The Cowboys are contending for a playoff spot, if not the NFC East title. They lost a tough one at Philly Sunday. The Giants will be without Daniel Jones for the season following his injury in the Sunday defeat against the Raiders. Big Blue may be headed for the Bill Belichick Sweepstakes. The 15.5-point spread is one if the biggest of the season. The total has slipped from 41.5 to 39.5. Again, we'll swim against the tide and go with the over. Jerry Jones won't let his team take their foot off the gas at home against New York.

Best Bet: Over 39.5 Points (-110) with DraftKings Sportsbook

Washington Commanders at Seattle Seahawks, 4:25 p.m. (FOX)

The Commanders tried to tank by dealing the core of their offensive line, but the Patriots were not cooperating Sunday. Now Washington has some confidence. Seattle got crushed Sunday at Baltimore, but that was their 4th trip to the East Coast this season. They'll be fine at home and Geno Smith is no Mac Jones. Thankfully for the "12s." This game is another potential sneaky over, especially with the total under 45 points.

New York Jets at Las Vegas Raiders, 8:20 p.m. (NBC)

The Raiders cleaned house. Coach Josh McDaniels and GM Dave Ziegler are gone. Jimmy Garoppolo is on the bench. The Raiders won their Super Bowl at home in Week 9 against the Giants. And celebrated as such. Now, it's the Jets turn in Sin City. The Jets are coming off a Monday night game. This one is going to be close.

Monday, November 13

Denver Broncos at Buffalo Bills, 8:15 p.m. (ABC/ESPN)

Both Coach Seans are having a rough go in 2023. Sean Payton's first season in Denver has been a disaster. Sean McDermott is running out of seasons to get the Bills over the hump and back to a Super Bowl. The Bills steal money against TD+ lines, covering just once in four chances over 7 points this season. They got smothered by the Bengals in Week 9 and have struggled to find their offensive footing. Denver held Kansas City to just 28 points in two outings this season. The Broncos are also coming off a bye and 24-9 win over the Swifties in Week 8.

Best Bet: Broncos +7.5 (-110) with DraftKings Sportsbook
