It’s a prolific passing attack against a punishing ground game, as Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs host Derrick Henry and the Tennessee Titans with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line. The AFC Championship kicks off at 3:05 p.m. ET Sunday.

The Chiefs haven’t been to the Big Game since 1969, while the Titans are looking for their second trip and first since 1999.

5 Titans-Chiefs AFC Championship Game Bets & Lines To Back — This is one of the few times the Chiefs defense was able to stop Titans running back Derrick Henry in Week 10. Henry rushed for 188 yards and two touchdowns on 23 carries in a 35-32 win.

The Chiefs are going to get theirs, but it’s a long game. Derrick Henry and the Titans aren’t going to alter what they do; I don’t see this game getting out of hand. It could be a rerun of Week 10, when Mahomes went off for nearly 450 yards and Henry went off for nearly 200 yards rushing in a Tennessee win. The road team is on a perfect 7-0 ATS run in Titans games.

PICK 2: Over 52.5 Points

This game is chock full of offensive strength vs. defensive weakness, from Mahomes facing the 26th pass defense in the league to Henry against the 26th run defense in the league. Each team scored 30-plus points when they faced off, and each is averaging 31.3 ppg since then.

PICK 3: Second Quarter — Chiefs -3

The Chiefs sometimes take a drive or two to feel things out and get going. Then the second quarter comes around. They’re averaging 12.1 ppg in the second quarter all season, by far No. 1 in the NFL, and the last three weeks that’s ballooned to 15 ppg. Tennessee ranks 29th in second-quarter scoring and it’s also the Titans’ worst defensive quarter.

The Titans have figured out their recipe for success, and it isn’t Tannehill passing 30 times for a ton of yards. He has thrown for 230-plus yards six times but Tennessee is 3-3 in those games and he’s thrown five of his seven INTs. When he throws for 180-200 yards, Tennessee is 4-0 and he has 11 TDs and zero INTs.
