The final event of the DP World Tour season before the play-offs takes place this week as golfing eyes look to South Korea for the Genesis Championship. Eugenio Chacarra picked up his third win of the season last week in India, confirming his place as the most in-form player on tour, and golf fans will be hoping for another exciting finish in Cheonan.
The tournament is played at Woo Jeong Hills Country Club and was won by Junghwan Lee last year after an incredible final round of 64 meant he won by three shots, despite starting the day four strokes back.
Two Koreans in Si Woo Kim and Sungjae Im are jostling for favouritism this week, just ahead of Chacarra, in what is sure to be an exciting event in a country that rarely hosts tournaments of this stature.
Golf betting sites have plenty of betting offers and markets for this event in response. For those in the UK, players tee off in the late hours of Wednesday 21st October, so make sure you get your bets on before then if you want to take advantage of the best each-way terms. Who do you fancy to win this week?

Genesis Championship Golf Betting Tip - Thomas Detry to Win
Thomas Detry missed most of this DP World Tour season due to joining LIV Golf in January, but he's back for the run-in and could yet stake a claim for the play-offs. It's remarkable that someone of Detry's ability and longevity hasn't won on the tour yet, but this could break his duck.
The Belgian has enjoyed a solid autumn with a T20 at the Open de France, an 8th in the Alfred Dunhill Links and a T9 last time out in the India Championship. His flat stick form has been impressive in the last few months, and he finished T7 here last year.
Back Thomas Detry to win at 22/1 with BOYLE Sports.

Genesis Championship Golf Betting Tip - Minhyuk Song to Win (e/w 7 places)
The first Korean in our tips is Minhyuk Song, who may not be known to many but has been in absolutely superb form on the KPGA Tour for over a year now. He finished in the top 10 in five of his last 10 events last year, placing no worse than T39, and one of those was a T7 in the Genesis Championship.
The 22-year-old took that form into this season with his maiden KPGA Tour victory in May and has found form at just the right time for this event, going T7-T7-5-T15-14 in his last five. Whilst the fields in those events may not be comparable, form is form, and he's already shown he can compete in this event.
Back Minhyuk Song to Win (e/w 7 places) at 110/1 with Coral.

Genesis Championship Golf Betting Tip - Seungbin Choi to Win (e/w 7 places)
Another Korean in Seungbin Choi rounds out our tips. The 25-year-old has enjoyed an impressive 12 months or so, picking up his second KPGA Tour win this time last year and following it up with a T7 in the Genesis a week later.
He endured a slow start to 2026 but picked up in May and has missed only one cut in his last 10 events on the tour, finishing in the top 20 in seven of those. His last three reads T13-T28-T14, and there's nothing to suggest he can't replicate last year's result here.
Back Seungbin Choi to Win (e/w 7 places) at 150/1 with Ladbrokes.
