When Andoni Iraola was handed the job as a relative unknown in UK circles to replace Gary O’Neil, who had done a good job at the helm, many questions were asked. However, the Spaniard has answered them and then some. So it will dismay some Cherries fans that he will be leaving at the end of the season.
That means, however, the club are on the search for a new manager, and top betting sites have opened up a market on who might replace Iraola this summer. The question will be whether the club look for an established name to try to take them to the next level or another up-and-coming name to continue Iraola’s good work. Former Dortmund and RB Leipzig manager Marco Rose is the current favourite for the role at most betting apps. He is followed in the betting by Ipswich’s Kieran McKenna, Motherwell’s Jens Berthel Askou and another former Dortmund boss in Edin Terzic.

Would McKenna Be Open to Bournemouth Role?
Kieran McKenna’s stock is still high after guiding Ipswich to the Premier League from League One, but if he doesn’t gain promotion back to the top division, it could be time for him to jump ship before another manager takes his title as the next big thing.
Bournemouth seems like a good fit for him. The team currently play attractive possession-based football, and the owners at the club seem to know their place in the league and not place too many demands on managers. But with Ipswich on the verge of automatic promotion he might want to give it another go in the top flight with the Tractor Boys. It could be wise to watch his odds at Apple Pay betting sites closely.

Rose Another Name in the Cherries Frame
Marco Rose has been linked to a number of jobs in England over the last few years following a good couple of years at Borussia Monchengladbach and almost three seasons at RB Leipzig, where he won the DFB-Pokal. He has been out of a job for over a year now and may view England as the next logical step.
Whether Bournemouth would take a punt on him remains up in the air, but Rose’s experience of managing at the highest level in the Champions League would certainly make him an attractive candidate.

Is Thomas Frank Ready For a Return?
After failing to fire at Tottenham - though Spurs’ struggles since he left has probably served to enhance his reputation - the Bournemouth job seems like a perfect match for Frank. He cut his teeth with Brentford and turned them from a middling Championship team into a Premier League punching above their weight.
Outgoing Andoni Iraola has been doing that since he took over, so the transition could be relatively seamless. Whether Bournemouth would be setting their sights slightly higher now is anybody’s guess, but Frank’s odds at most Trustly betting sites suggest he will be of interest at least.

Would Eddie Howe Return to Vitality Stadium?
Things could get poetic for Eddie Howe, who has been in charge at Newcastle for almost five seasons but may not be around much longer in the north-east after a poor season - opening the door for another return to Bournemouth. Howe played over 300 games for the Cherries across two spells and also managed them in over 450 games across two spells.
He did an incredible job last time he was in charge at the Vitality Stadium, taking the club from League One and into Premier League mainstays, so the return of a legend to Bournemouth would surely be welcomed by both the board and fans alike.
New customers only. Register, deposit with Debit Card, and place first bet £10+ at Evens (2.0)+ on Sports within 7 days to get 3 x £10 in Sports Free Bets & 2 x £10 in Acca Free Bets within 10 hours of settlement. 7-day expiry. Eligibility & payment exclusions apply. Full T&Cs apply.
Kjetil Knutsen Another Option for Cherries Job
Kjetil Knutsen's star has risen rapidly this season with FK Bodo/Glimt producing some eye-catching performances in the Champions League.
Knutsen might want to further his ambition, with the manager having been in charge of the Norwegian club since 2018, guiding them to four Eliteserien titles in 2020, 2021, 2023 and 2024.
What might appeal to Bournemouth is the fact that Knutsen has engineered a successful team on a modest budget, and he could jump at the opportunity to further his career in England, although all his previous managerial experience has been in his native country.

Would Postecoglou Return to Premier League?
Ange Postecoglou remains available after his six-week stint at Nottingham Forest came to an end back in October. That followed his departure from Spurs, who let the Aussie go despite delivering a Europa League trophy in his second season in charge.
Premier League experience and a history of winning trophies will surely make him an appealing candidate for a number of roles this summer, despite the fact that his star has faded a little over the last few months. If Bournemouth decide he’s their man, they may need to snap him up before someone else does.
