David Moyes is the new favourite to be the next Premier League manager to be sacked following Palace and Roy Hodgson parting ways on Monday. After a dismal run of form in which they have now failed to score for three matches, West Ham find themselves ninth in the table. Pressure is now beginning to mount on Moyes, who is under pressure to secure results with the fans against his negative style of play.

Jurgen Klopp has now been taken out of the market with many UK betting sites. With his departure set for the end of the season, it makes compiling a market easier without his name in it.

There have only been three Premier League, managerial casualties so far this season. Though, given the fast moving nature of football these days, at Nottingham Forest, Nuno Espirito Santo is already seen as just a 20/1 shot to be the next manager sacked with some betting apps, and Chris Wilder is just 5/1 to lose his job with Sheffield United.

Erik ten Hag has now drifted with most betting sites. Manchester United are unbeaten in seven games in all competitions, winning five on the spin, and Ten Hag looks to be safe in his role for now. United have dealt with an early Champions League exit, but Ten Hag will still be looking over his shoulder with INEOS CEO Sir Jim Ratcliffe now in charge of football operations at the club.

David Moyes Under Pressure at West Ham

For much of last season, many of the best betting sites had David Moyes as among the favourites to be sacked as the Hammers struggled for domestic form. They managed to turn things around to easily avoid relegation and even lifted silverware in the form of the Europa Conference League. This gave Moyes some breathing room, and while the team's league form is better than it was for much of last season, the inconsistency of the team and the style of play has led to discontent among some supporters.

However, recent form has left a lot to be desired, an embarrassing performance at home to Arsenal was followed by a poor defeat away to Forest. Moyes probably rightly heads the market at this point.

Kompany Needs to Address Turf Moor Form

The new betting sites have been shortening Vincent Kompany's betting odds on the Premier League Sack Race market during the course of the season.

Thirteen points and just 25 goals from 25 matches is a meagre return for Burnley after a brilliant promotion campaign, with the latest setback a 5-0 drubbing at the hands of Arsenal. It would be a big surprise if Kompany was replaced at Turf Moor, although the Clarets are currently losing the battle to stay afloat, and have now been dumped out of the FA Cup.

Wilder Close to the Exit Door Again

New betting sites think that Chris Wilder is again one of the most vulnerable managers in the Premier League. A 5-0 defeat at home to Brighton lumped more misery on the Blades, and has probably pushed Wilder closer to the exit door yet again.

While a return to the Championship was always seen as the most likely outcome this season, it is the manner in which they may return that has fans dismayed. The writing is already on the wall, and the only question is if the Sheff Utd board want to be seen to making the same mistake again by sacking Wilder during the season.

Klopp To Step Down At The End Of The Season

Jurgen Klopp has decided to bring the curtain down on a brilliant 8 1/2 year spell with Liverpool at the end of the season. The fact that we know he will be leaving was enough to see him near the top of the next manager to leave market. However, now most betting sites have betting without Klopp in their markets.

Can Pochettino Last Two Years at Chelsea?

Chelsea now sit tenth in the Premier League table after collecting four points from their last 2 games.  Mauricio Pochettino had stated that fans will see an improved team in the New Year, and there were some encouraging signs away at Man City.

Owner Todd Boehly will certainly hope so, with over a billion pounds spent in the past twelve months and the idea was that the Blues would be capable of challenging for the Premier League title in the mid to long-term.

Pochettino is still under pressure to deliver results. The Blues are closer to the drop zone than the top of the table and the Argentine will have expected more points on the board at this stage of the season. They do have the chance to pick up some silverware against Liverpool this weekend in the EFL Cup.

Eddie Howe Could be Vulnerable At Newcastle

Eddie Howe is widely considered to have been a massive success at Newcastle United since taking charge at St James' Park. He has just passed his two-year anniversary at the Tyneside club, having kept the Magpies afloat in the top-flight in his first season in charge. He was then able to build a team that finished fourth in the Premier League last season to qualify for Champions League football.

Things haven't been plain sailing in Europe or the league this season, with Newcastle having finished bottom of their Champions League group. However a 3-1 win away against high flying Aston Villa has seen a huge drift in Howe's odds to leave, but he is one to keep an eye on as Newcastle are still 12 points away from 4th place following a 2-2 draw with Bournemouth.

Ten Hag Prominent in Sack Race Market

Erik ten Hag has experienced a difficult second season at Old Trafford, with Manchester United making an early Champions League exit and looking unlikely to qualify for the same competition this season. However, the Dutchman has seen an upturn in form recently, even if performances have not hit the high standards demanded by some fans. The best betting sites anticipate that he will stay in charge for the time being, with United winning 5 out of their last 5 in all competitions.

Iraola Now Has Breathing Space at Bournemouth

Betting sites made Andoni Iraola the odds-on favourite in their Sack Race earlier in the season, although the Spaniard is now starting to get a tune out of the Cherries who are now up to fourteenth in the Premier League table.

Eyebrows were raised when Gary O'Neil was sacked at the Vitality Stadium before the Dorset club appointed Iraola as manager. Iraola earned rave reviews at Rayo Vallecano and Bournemouth have recently landed thirteen points from their past five matches.

Previously to his appointment, Iraola had no experience of managing in England and initially struggled to be successful in a hugely competitive league, although things are now looking up for a club who have established daylight between themselves and the bottom teams.
