There's just a handful of events left in the DP World Tour season before the play-offs, and the next stop sees Spain host the Open de Espana. Adrian Meronk was the winner of the Alfred Dunhill last week, winning by two shots, and golf fans will be hoping for another exciting finish here in Madrid.
The tournament is played at the Club de Campo Villa de Madrid and was won by England's Marco Penge last year in a playoff over Dan Brown.
Ludvig Aberg is the favourite to win this week, but he has found finishing off tournaments difficult over the last 18 months. And with no three-time winner Jon Rahm in the field, this could be a very open tournament.
Golf betting sites have plenty of betting offers and markets for this event in response. The players tee off on Thursday 8th October, so make sure you get your bets on before then if you want to take advantage of the best each-way terms. Who do you fancy to win this week?

Open de Espana Golf Betting Tip - Eugenio Chacarra to Win
It's been a pretty good season for Eugenio Chacarra, who is now at a career-high world ranking of 55th following two top-five finishes in the last four weeks at the European Masters and Open de France, respectively. Those two finishes followed wins at the KLm Open and Open D'Italia in consecutive starts.
He's shown this year he can get streaky and has enjoyed strong weeks at national opens. We're hoping he can take the home crowd along with him for another strong week here in Madrid.
Back Eugenio Chacarra to win at 22/1 with PricedUp.

Spanish Open Golf Betting Tip - Angel Hidalgo to Win (e/w 7 places)
Angel Hidalgo looks in much better form than his current odds would suggest at present. In two of his last four tournaments, he has two top-four finishes. And he's coming back to a tournament in which he sprung to the attentions of the wider golfing world when outduelling the mighty Jon Rahm in a playoff to win in 2024 when ranked 398 in the world.
It hasn't been a stellar year, so his ranking is back to 199th in the world, but he has outplayed that ranking nicely in the last few weeks and could again in familiar surrounds.
Back Angel Hidalgo to Win (e/w 7 places) at 55/1 with Coral.

Open de Espana Golf Betting Tip - Rafa Cabrera-Bello to Win (e/w 7 places)
If we had a time machine and could go back a few years, this tip wouldn't seem so far-fetched, but then again his odds wouldn't be anywhere near as juicy as they look. As it is, Rafa Cabrera-Bello is the longest of shots for good reason.
He has missed 10 cuts this season and finished inside the top 5 just once, at the Austrian Alpine Open. However, he has a strong history at the tournament in the not too distant past. He finished second to Rahm in 2019 before he won in a playoff here in 2021. There are more obvious candidates to win, but at the prices, he looks worth a gamble.
Back Rafa Cabrera-Bello to Win (e/w 7 places) at 150/1 with Ladbrokes.
