Selection: Field Of Gold

Favourite backers can get the meeting off to a good start at the famous track by when Field Of Gold get to attempt to reverse the form of the 2000 Guineas. The strong staying three year old was given too much to do with the winner Ruling Court given too much rope in the middle part of the race. Colin Keane didn't make that mistake in the Irish equivalent, and he won't be making it here. Field Of Gold should be able to confirm he is the superior horse.

Wednesday June 18, Prince of Wales’s Stakes 15:40 UK Time

Selection: Anmaat

Very lightly raced for a seven year old, despite his age Anmaat might be running better than ever. He lost nothing in defeat last time out against Los Angeles, and was probably beaten by being held up towards the rear during the race rather than his actual performance. He's a big danger should he be ridden a bit closer to the pace this time out.

Thursday June 19, Ascot Gold Cup, 16:20 UK Time

Selection: Candelari

While Illinois does set a decent standard in this race, Candelari is a horse on the upgrade. He is making rapid progress, picking up a Group 1 at Lonchamp last time out. Incredibly that was only his second race on turf, so there is much more to come from this four year old. The further he has gone in his races the better he has looked, so he could really appreciate the increase in distance the Ascot Gold Cup test brings.

Friday June 20, Commonwealth Cup, 15:05 UK Time

Selection: Shadow Of Light

Shadow Of Light looked all speed in the 2000 Guineas, doing very well to grab third place despite it clearly not being his best trip. Back down at six furlongs he can show his true ability, as the best we have seen of him so far came over this trip three starts ago at Newmarket. He has the perfect blend of speed and the touch of stamina required for this race.

Saturday June 21, The Wokingham Stakes, 17:00 UK Time

Selection: Symbol Of Honor

An incredibly competitive handicap on the final day of Royal Ascot, in which it is worth taking a chance on Symbol Of Honor.
