Tip 2 - 11:45 Newmarket - Angel Gabriel

Angel Gabriel returns from six months off with his yard in flying form - sending out three winners from their last six runners. He showed huge promise as a two-year-old, finishing second twice before scoring in an all-weather novice. Gelded since then and given plenty of time to mature from two to three, he returns with a massive amount of potential and could well be underestimated by his opening mark of 82.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time.

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
