Wilfried Zaha did look set to be on the move this summer, although the latest betting odds suggest the forward might now remain in London. Crystal Palace have offered their star man a shiny new contract, and it appears that Zaha might be ready to reject his suitors and remain at Selhurst Park to help the Eagles challenge for a top-half finish.

The forward has been on Crystal Palace's books since 2015, and the betting odds over the summer suggested that he was going to leave Selhurst Park and take a big-money offer in the process. There's still a prospect that the player will move to the Turkish Super Lig, and it's thought that Fenerbahce could be the team to land the player.

Zaha is currently out of contract at Crystal Palace, and there have been reports that the Ivory Coast international has been offered a four-year deal worth £200,000 per week to remain at the South London club. However, football betting sites still offer betting odds on the club where he'll be playing his football ahead of the 2023/24 season.

At the age of 30, Zaha still has a sizeable chunk of his career ahead of him, with Istanbul, Rome or Saudi Arabia potential destinations for a player who has received plenty of interest, although there always remains the possibility that he will make a long-term pledge to Crystal Palace.

Palace Set to Keep Zaha at Selhurst

Many Crystal Palace fans were resigned to losing Wilfried Zaha this summer, although it appears as though the London club could now keep hold of their star man. Zaha has strong roots in the English capital, and perhaps he was always going to sign a new contract at the club providing that the terms were right.

Zaha is training and receiving treatment for a hamstring injury at Palace, with Roy Hodgson's decision to sign on for another year potentially encouraging the forward that he can be part of a bright season.

There's a £200,000 per week deal on the table for a player who would become Palace's highest-ever paid player, and perhaps that amount of money will persuade him to shun the likes of Galatasaray, Lazio and PSG. The latest odds from betting sites suggests that could be the case.

Zaha Could Be Tempted by Italian Job at Lazio

Wilfried Zaha has been linked to a move to other Premier League clubs such as Arsenal, but it appears that any move will be away from the Premier League, with Lazio a potential destination, according to the latest betting odds. The Serie A club have a serious interest in a player who could seriously boost their hopes of challenging for the Scudetto.

Perhaps the prospect of playing in the Champions League could see the former Manchester United player make the journey to the Italian capital to sign for a team who finished second behind Napoli in the Serie A standings last term.

Zaha might find the prospect of relocating to Rome an attractive one, with the player still at the peak of his powers despite recuperating from a recent injury. He will certainly be giving any Lazio offer plenty of consideration.

Fenerbahce and Galatasaray Looking to Land Palace Forward

Wilfried Zaha is weighing up his various options after a high volume of interest in a player regarded as one of the best in the Premier League. It could be that Fenerbahce are able to lure the 30-year-old to Istanbul, with the forward sure to be remunerated handsomely to sign a contract with a Turkish side with an enormous fanbase and passionate support.

The bookies certainly feel as though a Turkish Super Lig club could land Zaha's signature, with Fenerbahce potentially hoping to get ahead of Paris Saint-Germain, Lazio and Napoli in order to land the player. There's also the danger of being outbid by a range of Saudi Arabian clubs, although the latest reports suggest the former Manchester United man will shun a move to the Pro League.

New betting sites certainly feel as though Fenerbahce are in the box seat to capture someone who would be a real statement signing, but it was Galatasaray who secured the Turkish Super Lig title last season, and they'll surely look to make a splash in Europe next term with new signings such as Zaha.

Is Paris Calling for Zaha?

Wilfried Zaha would surely love to land some silverware during his playing career, and a move to Paris Saint-Germain would virtually guarantee trophies. PSG have regularly topped the Ligue 1 standings in the past few seasons, and the forward could help the team remain as top dogs in France.

The Ivory Coast international has shone in the Premier League on a regular basis despite representing one of the more modest outfits in Crystal Palace. Surely he would be able to thrive when playing in the same team as Kylian Mbappe and Neymar, with PSG looking for new attacking options after the departure of Lionel Messi to MLS side Inter Miami.

The latest odds with betting sites suggest that Zaha may well be heading to the French capital this summer and turning out for the Qatari-owned outfit, meaning that he would stay relatively close to his roots in London and also get the chance to enjoy an exciting new chapter in his career.

Saudi Arabian Clubs Likely to Want Palace Forward

Since Cristiano Ronaldo left Manchester United to join Al Nassr last season, there has been a flurry of other high-profile players who have headed in a similar direction. The Saudi Pro League is becoming an attractive destination, with Karim Benzema, N'Golo Kante and Ruben Neves among the players who have made the switch recently.

Therefore, Wilfried Zaha could plausibly decide that he can make a big impact with one of the Saudi Pro League clubs, and the Palace forward could be a superstar operating for one of the top teams in this division. The money that can be earned is mind-blowing and would supersede the Palace offer on the table, although this is a lifestyle change for someone who has spent nearly his entire life living in the English capital.

It has been reported that Al Nassr offered Zaha a staggering £30 million per year to join Ronaldo at their club, although it has also emerged that the player would prefer a move to central Europe at this stage of proceedings, and that PSG would represent a sounder choice.

Tottenham Could Guarantee Zaha More Playing Time

Tottenham Hotspur are another London club that could throw their hat into the ring for Wilfried Zaha, and they certainly need to shake things up this summer. The 2022/23 season turned into something of a farce despite a promising start under Antonio Conte. Harry Kane potentially leaving this summer would leave a big hole to fill in attack.

Although Zaha is a different type of player to Kane, goals are certainly in his repertoire, and chairman Daniel Levy might be prepared to stump up the sort of deal that could attract someone who started out with the Crystal Palace academy at the age of 12. There’s also the likelihood that he would be more of a guaranteed starter for Spurs compared to Arsenal, though Spurs are the big outsiders to land Zaha with football betting apps.

Could Zaha Head to Europe This Summer?

It’s not inconceivable that Wilfried Zaha decides to leave these shores over the summer and choose to sign for one of the leading European clubs. We’ve seen the likes of Jude Bellingham and Jadon Sancho have spells with Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga, and perhaps the Crystal Palace man might fancy the chance to turn out for a team who are proving to be really competitive in Germany and in European competition right now.

If Dortmund don’t come in for Zaha, then RB Leipzig are also regarded as potential suitors by most betting sites, and this is another leading Bundesliga side who could build their team around a player who has the capability to prove very effective in the league.

It’s also not out of the question that a Serie A club might come calling for his services, with Napoli having recently won the Scudetto and looking to continue their success, while Juventus, Milan and Inter could also be in the market for someone who has always been regarded as one of the best players in the Premier League to play for a non top-six club.
