On the men’s side, Djokovic and Alcaraz have combined to win each of the last six grand slams. Alcaraz is the defending champion, and the US Open is actually Djokovic’s longest “drought” of the four grand slams; he last won in 2018, having won the other three grand slams either this year or last.
