Through Week 10 of the 2021 NFL season, there are 16 teams above .500. That’s not abnormal. What is abnormal is that 10 of them are in one conference.

The AFC is chock full of winners and potential playoff contenders with 62.5% of its teams at 5-4 or better. The AFC West has all four teams above the mark.

NFL Week 11 odds at betting sites feature several AFC showdowns that could prove to be separators in the race for coveted playoff spots. That includes the Colts (5-5) at Bills (6-3), Bengals (5-4) at Raiders (5-4) and Steelers (5-3-1) at Chargers (5-3). Thursday, Nov. 18

New England Patriots (-7) at Atlanta Falcons, 8:20 p.m. ET

QB Mac Jones had been inconsistent with his overall statistics, but he found a rhythm on Sunday vs. the Browns, tossing three TDs to just four incompletions in a 45-7 blowout victory. The Patriots have won four in a row heading into Week 11, with Jones passing for anywhere from 139 to 307 yards in that span. The Patriots defense has held opponents to under 300 total yards three times in the last four weeks, including holding Cleveland to just 217 in a 45-7 blowout victory.

Atlanta had won three of four after an impressive win at the Saints in Week 9, but that was followed by a 40-point loss to the Cowboys. Top playmaking RB Cordarrelle Patterson missed much of the game and is likely to be out again here. The Sunday blowout was the first time in six weeks a Falcons game was decided by more than a TD. Atlanta’s defense has been a big key to a 4-4 start, but after allowing 214 ypg passing it gave up 314 vs. Dallas.

Take a look at Patriots vs Falcons odds, injury report, betting lines and more.

Sunday, Nov. 21

New Orleans Saints at Philadelphia Eagles (-1), 1 p.m. ET

The Saints defense allowed 375 yards to Tom Brady and 343 to Matt Ryan the previous two weeks, but it held Ryan Tannehill to under 200 yards. However, the offense couldn’t make the key plays in a 23-21 defeat. Trevor Siemian, the replacement for lost QB Jameis Winston (ACL), had two TDs and New Orleans outgained Tennessee by over 100 yards, but lost the turnover battle and two missed extra points were huge.

The Eagles’ run-first strategy seems to be working. Philly ran roughshod over Denver’s sixth-ranked run defense in Week 10 to the tune of 214 yards. Jalen Hurts did his part through the air as well with two TD. A defense that allowed 399-plus yards in three of the four games held Denver to 308 in the 31-14 road win.

Take a look at Saints vs Eagles odds, injury report, betting lines and more.

Miami Dolphins (-3) at New York Jets, 1 p.m. ET

The last three weeks, the maligned Miami defense has turned its season around, limiting the powerful Bills, shutting down the Texan and then, on Thursday, corralling Lamar Jackson and the Ravens in a 22-10 victory. Tua Tagovailoa didn’t start but did enter the game late and passed for 158 yards on only 13 attempts, a good sign moving forward. The Dolphins have beaten the Jets in six of the last seven meetings.

The Jets offense turned it up in Weeks 8-9, scoring 30 and 31 points. QB play was the reason, with Mike White and Josh Johnson combining to pass for 812 yards. But White got picked off four times vs. the Bills on Sunday; that didn’t help a defense that was allowing a whopping 43.3 ppg the last three outings. They allowed 45 vs. Buffalo.

Washington Football Team at Carolina Panthers (-3), 1 p.m. ET

Not much was going right for Washington prior to its Week 10 matchup with the defending Super Bowl champion Buccaneers. But Taylor Heinicke had his best game of the season and the defense picked off Tom Brady twice in a 29-19 victory. The defense went into the showdown ranked last in pass yards allowed but held Brady to 220 yards and the Bucs to 273 overall. They will have to forge on without star DE Chase Young, lost for the season with a torn ACL.

The return of Cam Newton to Carolina paid quick dividends. He threw a TD and ran for another in the first quarter of the Panthers’ 34-10 rout of the NFC West-leading Cardinals. P.J. Walker got the majority of the snaps but expect more Cam in the coming weeks, starting here. Carolina’s second-ranked defense has allowed 217 ypg over the last three weeks.

Indianapolis Colts at Buffalo Bills (-7), 1 p.m. ET

The Colts’ streak of scoring at least 27 points ended at five games in Week 10 vs. the Jaguars. However, they still won for the fourth time in five games in a 20-16 decision. Wentz had at least two TD passes in the last six games entering Week 10; he had none on Sunday, but the win indicates this is a more-complete team than some may have believed.

The Bills ranked No. 1 in points scored before putting up a scant six points against the Jaguars in Week 9, one of the bottom defenses in the NFL, in a stunning defeat. They took out their frustrations on the Jets, putting up 45 points and 489 yards of offense in an easy Week 10 win. After holding Trevor Lawrence to 118 yards through the air two weeks ago, it picked off Jets QB Mike White four times. Buffalo’s defense ranks No. 1 in the NFL in QB rating allowed and yards per attempt.

Detroit Lions at Cleveland Browns (-10), 1 p.m. ET

The Lions didn’t lose in Week 10, but they didn’t win either, forcing a 16-16 tie at Pittsburgh. That was a step in the right direction for a team that was being outscored the previous three outings by an average of 23.3 ppg. While the defense has held consistent, the offense has faltered. Jared Goff managed only 114 pass yards on Sunday, not counting -37 in sack yards.

The Browns defense, ranked top-10 vs. both the run and pass, was ripped by Mac Jones and the Patriots, who put up 268 pass yards and 184 rush yards in a 45-7 rout. Baker Mayfield was injured yet again, this time his knee, and the offense managed just 217 yards without Nick Chubb (COVID). Cleveland has several injuries to monitor leading up to kickoff.

Take a look at Lions vs Browns odds, injury report, betting lines and more.

San Francisco 49ers (-6) at Jacksonville Jaguars, 1 p.m. ET

The 49ers took the NFC West-powerhouse Rams to school on Monday night in Week 10, shutting down Matthew Stafford while the offense hummed in a 31-10 rout. Jimmy Garoppolo was nearly perfect as the Niners finally won at home after an 0-4 start. George Kittle’s return (13 catches, 151 yards, two TDs in two games) has boosted the pass offense, good timing vs. a Jaguars defense that’s allowed 300-plus pass yards in half its games.

The Jaguars outgained the Seahawks in Week 8 but still got handled 31-7. Then they scored just nine points in Week 9 to the mighty Bills – and got the win. They outgained the Colts by nearly 40 yards in Week 10 and lost again. Trevor Lawrence has struggled to make the big play. He’s thrown 116 passes the last three weeks but is averaging just 4.5 yards per attempt.

Take a look at 49ers vs Jaguars odds, injury report, betting lines and more.

Houston Texans at Tennessee Titans (-10), 1 p.m. ET

Tyrod Taylor’s return to the offense in Week 9 didn’t pan out; he tossed three INTs in a 17-9 loss to the Dolphins. Houston has its best defensive effort all season that game, holding Miami to only 262 yards – nearly 100 yards fewer than any other opponent.

The Titans are the talk of the NFL, winners of six straight, the last five vs. legit playoff contenders. The offense mustered just 194 yards vs. L.A. in Week 9 and 264 vs. the Saints in Week 10, its first games without NFL lead RB Derrick Henry. However, the Titans turned turnovers into points. The ball-hawking Tennessee defense has forced 9 turnovers the last four weeks.

Take a look at Texans vs Titans odds, injury report, betting lines and more.

Green Bay Packers (-2) at Minnesota Vikings, 1 p.m. ET

Aaron Rodgers returned after a one-week absence (Covid) and didn’t toss a TD. But A.J. Dillon emerged and the Packers’ defense clicked in a 17-0 shutout of Russell Wilson and the Seahawks. He’ll need to keep it up with star RB Aaron Jones (knee) out for Week 11. Rodgers has 17 TDs and one INT over his last eight games, all Packers wins. The unheralded defense held Seattle to just 208 yards and ranks in the top five at getting after the QB and in total defense.

Minnesota is in must-win mode this week as it sits 3.5 games behind the Packers in the NFC North. Two things the Vikings have done very well: Protecting their QB while getting to the opposing one. Kirk Cousins has been sacked just 12 times, while the defense leads the NFL with 29 sacks of its own. Next up: Winning the close games, as they’re 1-4 in games decided by four points or less.

Take a look at Packers vs Vikings odds, injury report, betting lines and more.

Baltimore Ravens (-5) at Chicago Bears, 1 p.m. ET

Baltimore is 6-3 but is not playing its best ball right now. After getting manhandle 41-17 by the Bengals, the Ravens came out of their bye week to barely get past the Vikings in OT at home. That was followed a 22-10 dud vs. the two-win Dolphins. Only one team allows more passing yards than the 299 the Ravens are allowing.

The floundering Bears have dropped four straight, and while their passing woes are obvious and well-documented, the defense has gone in the wrong direction. The last three games, Chicago has surrendered 38, 33 and 29 points.

Take a look at Ravens vs Bears odds, injury report, betting lines and more.

Cincinnati Bengals (-1) at Las Vegas Raiders, 4:05 p.m. ET

The bye week came at a good time for the Bengals, who are coming off a shocking loss to the Jets and a 41-16 home beatdown by the Browns. Team success has been directly connected with the play of second-year QB Joe Burrow. In Cincy’s four losses, Burrow has seven TDs and eight INTs. In the five wins, the ratio is 13-to-3.

All the good play the first two weeks under interim coach Rich Bisaccia has been replaced the last two weeks. After falling to the Giants in Week 9, Las Vegas was manhandled by the rival Chiefs 41-14 on Sunday. Vegas’ fourth-ranked pass defense was mauled for 422 yards and five TDs through the air. The offense gained only 299 yards, this after three straight 400-plus-yards efforts.

Arizona Cardinals (-2.5) at Seattle Seahawks, 4:25 p.m. ET

Without Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins, the Cardinals rolled past the 49ers 31-17 in Week 9. That same magic didn’t show up without the duo in Week 10, a 31-10 loss to Carolina. The offense vs. the Panthers managed 169 yards, or eight fewer than James Conner had by himself vs. San Francisco. The Cardinals and Seahawks split the season series last year, each outcome decided by a TD or less.

Russell Wilson is back, but the Seattle offense didn’t get out of its funk, getting blanked 17-0 by the Packers. Wilson passed for only 160 yards with two INTs; he had 10 TDs to one INT and led the NFL in QB rating prior to his Week 11 dud. The likely return of RB Chris Carson should help. A defense that ranks 25th vs. the run and 26th vs. the pass allowed 393 total yards vs. Green Bay.

Take a look at Cardinals vs Seahawks, injury report, betting lines and more.

Dallas Cowboys at Kansas City Chiefs (-2.5), 4:25 p.m. ET

The Cowboys ranked No. 1 in scoring, passing yards and total yards before getting shut down to the tune of 290 total yards in a Week 9 loss to the Broncos. But they had a clear bounceback in Week 10, going off for 43 points in a drubbing of the Falcons. Dallas didn’t accumulate 500 yards as it did in three of the last four weeks, but 431 wasn’t bad.

Patrick Mahomes broke out of his six-week funk, working over the fourth-ranked Raiders pass defense for 406 yards, five TDs and no INTs in a 41-14 blowout road win. If the offense gets going, that’s good news as the defense has been stellar. After allowing 437 ypg the first five weeks, KC is allowing 309 the last five.

Take a look at Cowboys vs Chiefs odds, injury report, betting lines and more.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Los Angeles Chargers (-5.5), 8:20 p.m. ET

When it comes to run offense, run defense and their passing counterparts, the Steelers rank 15th or worse in all four. They’re 5-3-1 but are coming off a disappointing tie to the winless Lions. Ben Roethlisberger didn’t play (COVID) but should be back for this one. When Big Ben doesn’t turn the ball over, the Steelers are undefeated. When he tossed an INT, they’re winless.

A Chargers’ pass defense allowing just 205 pass yards per game got torched for 295 by Kirk Cousins in a 27-20 Week 10 home loss to the Vikings. The Chargers also rank last in yards per game on the ground, with another 176 allowed vs. the Eagles and 94 to Dalvin Cook on Sunday – a potential issue with Najee Harris coming to town. The road team has won the last four meetings between these teams.

Take a look at Steelers vs Chargers odds, injury report, betting lines and more.

Monday, Nov. 22

New York Giants at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-11), 8:15 p.m. ET

The Giants exit their bye week having won two of three, but the offense has had a power outage. They’re averaging just 278 ypg the last four weeks, this after a 381 average the first five. They should get RB Saquon Barkley back for this one, just in time to face the NFL’s second-ranked run D.

The Buccaneers had bye week motivation after losing to Trevor Siemian and the Saints in Week 8, but it didn’t show in a surprising 29-19 defeat at Washington. That dropped Tom Brady-led teams to 13-5 straight-up in NFL betting following a bye. One other red flag for Monday night: Brady’s team have failed to cover the spread in 11 straight prime-time games.

Take a look at Giants vs Buccaneers odds, injury report, betting lines and more.
