An AFC North showdown with massive postseason implications is set for the spotlight of Monday Night Football, as Baker Mayfield and the Cleveland Browns host Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens (7-5) are on the outside looking in for the AFC Playoffs. They’re chasing, among other teams, the Browns (9-3), who have won four in a row.

The Ravens have covered the spread in seven of the last 10 meetings between these rivals, and the Browns are on a 1-4 ATS slide on Mondays. Let’s take a look at some of the best wagers that fans of NFL betting should consider.

Browns ATS

The Browns’ record is more impressive than how they got there, but they’ve still won four straight. The Ravens have dropped three of four, the lone win vs. the hapless Cowboys. Each team is going to be led by their ground games, and Cleveland has the better run defense. Take the hotter team with the better strength-vs.-strength matchups – which just happens to be a home underdog. I got them at +2.5.

Ravens-Browns Under 47.5

Certainly both these teams can score – they combine to put up 50 ppg. But each team knows the key to success is keeping the ball on the ground – and that means keeping the clock running. I locked the Under in at 47.5.

Highest Scoring Half – 1st Half

There is little doubt both the Ravens and Browns like to come out hot. Combined they have averaged a whopping 30.1 ppg in the opening halves – compared to 19.8 ppg after the break. Each team has also been especially strong defensively in the third quarter. Lock in the half prop over at Resorts Casino.

First Drive Results – Punt

These teams like to score early and often, but they haven’t done much of it too early. Neither team has scored a TD on the opening drive of a game. The Ravens have punted the last three games they’ve received the kickoff. The Browns have two punts and three FGs in their last five instances. Punt is the play here. Back the punt prop at PointsBet.

First Team To 30 Points - Neither

Not counting an OT TD, only one team has reached 30 points in a Ravens game the last six weeks. The Browns edged the Titans 41-35 last week, but the previous four weeks no one hit that mark. With running the focus on Monday, look for another close game with neither offense breaking out huge. Lock in the best odds at FOX Bet.
