The San Francisco 49ers need to keep winning to reach their playoff aspirations, but it won’t be easy as they host Josh Allen and the AFC East-leading Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football.
The 49ers (5-6) are in last place in the NFC West but enter Week 13 just one game out of the hunt for the final postseason spot in the conference. The Bills (8-3) hold a small lead over the Dolphins atop the AFC East.
The 49ers have been MNF masters, covering in 13 of their last 16. The Bills haven’t covered their last four on Monday night. Let’s take a look at some of the best wagers fans of NFL betting should consider.

Bills ATS
The 49ers edged the Rams in impressive fashion last week but had lost their previous three games, all against playoff-worthy opponents. This isn’t a good matchup for Josh Mullens. On the flip side, the 49ers have allowed the third-most rush yards to QBs. Allen isn’t likely to go off against SF’s top-tier pass defense. This is a field-goal game, one that Buffalo can win, and we’re grabbing them at -0.5.
Bills-49ers Under
Scoring is to be a challenge for each side. The gunslinging Allen faces a pass defense that has allowed more than 225 pass yards just three times, including 182 last week to the Rams upon the return of Richard Sherman. The 49ers are averaging only 17.6 ppg the last three weeks. We’re grabbing this at 48.
Lowest Scoring Quarter – 3rd
Each of these teams has fizzled coming out of the break. The third quarter marks the lowest-scoring 15 minutes for each side and it’s not that close. Combined, they’ve managed just 7.4 ppg in the third quarter. The second lowest quarter is 12.8 (first). Lock in the quarter prop at FanDuel.

Total FGs – Over 3.5
San Francisco’s pass defense got a big boost with the return of Richard Sherman last week. Buffalo’s defense isn’t as strong but the 49ers have been fizzling in the red zone. Look for Tyler Bass and Robbie Gould to get more on-field action than either coach would likely want. Back the field goal prop at BetMGM.

Cole Beasley – Over 75 Yards + TD
No John Brown means more targets for the rest of the Bills receivers. The 49ers’ focus will be on Stefon Diggs, and for good reason. But Beasley in the slot should see his fair share. He has a favorable matchup. He’s had just three 75-yard games and just three TDs, too. But two of his biggest games came with Brown on the shelf. Lock in the high odds at FOX Bet.
