Michael Carrick and Liam Rosenior Specials - How Will New Man Utd and Chelsea Managers Fare?

It’s not often that two of the biggest clubs in the UK have new managers ready to take charge of their first games in the Premier League at the same time. However, we’ve got that this weekend as Michael Carrick at Manchester United and Liam Rosenior at Chelsea look forward to home Premier League debuts.
For Carrick, things couldn’t be much tougher, as he has the Manchester Derby to contend with, and United will be clear underdogs with top UK betting sites. Chelsea face the in-form Brentford, with Rosenior having at least had two cup games to get his feet under the table at Stamford Bridge.
Given the level of interest in any United or Chelsea game, it is no surprise that betting sites have provided betting on how Carrick and Rosenior will get on in the early days of their respective hotseats. There could be some money to be made if they either take to the big jobs like a duck to water or struggle as their predecessors did. Bookies.com is here to run through the different options and which betting apps you can get the prices at.

Carrick Couldn’t Have Tougher Start To Man Utd Stint
The United owners couldn’t have timed having a new manager better, if the new manager bounce is anything at all. Their neighbours and great rivals Manchester City are in town Saturday. Former Man Utd players have lined up over the last few weeks saying the club needs someone in charge who understands how it runs and how they have tried to play football, almost exclusively in the Premier League era.
They got their wish with Michael Carrick, fresh from being sacked by Championship side Middlesbrough, agreeing to be interim boss until the end of the season. The former midfielder won 11 major trophies as a player at United, so he certainly has that knowledge of the club down.
Does he have what it takes to manage them for the rest of the year? Luckily, some fast withdrawal betting sites have come up with odds for some outcomes - some more probable than others - over the next few weeks. Maybe you like United to be inspired by Carrick, or they will decline further to mid-table mediocrity. We have all the odds here.

Can Rosenior Stop Chelsea Management Revolving Door?
Since Todd Boehly and his consortium took over Chelsea, they have overseen a number of managers. Thomas Tuchel, Graham Potter, Mauricio Pochettino and Enzo Maresca have all been and gone.
Now, seemingly having run through the bigger names available, they have turned to a relative rookie in Liam Rosenior. Conveniently, he was managing Chelsea’s sister club Strasbourg in France, albeit very well, before moving here.
Prior to that, he had a stint at Hull, and that is the extent of his management career. He has had two cup games to bed in, with a win over Charlton and defeat to Arsenal. What will a visit of Brentford have in store? Most football betting sites have them as comfortable favourites Saturday, but what of Rosenior’s tenure?
