It’s not often that two of the biggest clubs in the UK have new managers ready to take charge of their first games in the Premier League at the same time. However, we’ve got that this weekend as Michael Carrick at Manchester United and Liam Rosenior at Chelsea look forward to home Premier League debuts.

For Carrick, things couldn’t be much tougher, as he has the Manchester Derby to contend with, and United will be clear underdogs with top UK betting sites. Chelsea face the in-form Brentford, with Rosenior having at least had two cup games to get his feet under the table at Stamford Bridge.

Prior to that, he had a stint at Hull, and that is the extent of his management career. He has had two cup games to bed in, with a win over Charlton and defeat to Arsenal.
