The A’s are average when it comes to striking out, and with the way the bullpen is throwing, it’s unlikely Warren goes long if he gets into trouble beyond the fifth inning.

Leg 3: Giancarlo Stanton has played in just eight games and has yet to hit a home run. It’s going to happen, and the A’s bullpen has the 10th-highest HR rate allowed this month. With Spence unlikely to go further than five innings, Stanton will get a pitch to send to the Yankee Stadium bleachers.
