Leg 1: It’s a good bounce-back spot for Logan Webb, who has a bad July after posting a sub-3 ERA the prior three months. Just in case the Giants’ offense continues to struggle, we’ll take the even money on Webb to go five and get the W, vs. -210 for a SF victory.

Leg 2: Pirates starter Mike Burrows has a 5.71 road ERA and a 5.40 day-game ERA. He’s backed by the worst day-game offense in baseball (3.2 RPG). He may not go more than five innings, but that has typically been enough to get to five strikeouts. He has at least five K’s in four of his last five starts and went over five innings in just one of them.

Leg 3: Willy Adames is on a roll. He’s batting .321 over the last 15 games and .360 in the past week. He’s registered four total bases in each of the last two games, and two-plus in five of the last eight. Burrows’ struggles should offer an opportunity for the hot Giants shortstop.
