Leg 1: Cincinnati is playing better than Chicago and Nick Lodolo has a 1.88 ERA in his last seven starts. He blanked the Cubs for six innings in his last meeting. Mike Soroka makes his first start for Chicago; he averaged 4.1 innings in five July starts and the Cubs bullpen has a 6 ERA this month.
