The Masters returns this week to its traditional spring spot after moving to November last year to accommodate coronavirus concerns. And the galleries will be flush with spectators after being empty in 2020. (They don't have "fans" at Augusta National.) The traditional Masters props are up across multiple sportsbooks. Five-time champion Tiger Woods is out after his horrific car crash in February. Dustin Johnson is the defending champion and is among the usual suspects near the top of the betting board.

Great Masters Prop Bets To Make Now

Dustin Johnson Top American Finisher (+700, DraftKings)

Of the top 10 overall betting favorites at DraftKings, seven are Americans. So, which nephew of Uncle Sam will emerge as the top American at the Masters? There's minimal difference in terms of price between Dustin Johnson (+700), Bryson DeChambeau (+750), Jordan Spieth (+750) and Justin Thomas (+800) on this prop. So, who is the best bet?

Well, it's hard to imagine any American in the field beating all four of these countrymen this week. If you want a value play, consider Xander Schauffele (+1400) or Collin Morikawa (+1600). Both are capable and many a pro has enjoyed his breakout moment on Masters Sunday.

However, D.J. was dominant in his rout here in November. He is the most unflappable of this bunch and will be playing the role of Tiger Woods this week. Getting him at +700 here when he's +950 overall is a nice hedge and wisest play if you think he's going to win it, just in case someone like Jon Rahm on Rory McIlroy finally get score their big Augusta breakthrough.

Rory McIlroy Top 10 Finish (+200, DraftKings)

By the way, whatever happened to Rory McIlroy? He was among the favorites to win just a couple of months ago. Now, he's become an afterthought. No reason to sweat Rors winning his first green jacket to complete the career grand slam at +1800 when you can get him at +200 just for a Top-10 finish at DraftKings .

McIlroy has struggled with his focus and his short game this year. He brought in a new swing coach two weeks ago but has not won since 2019. He seems overall to be headed in a positive direction and a big week here is not a heavy ask. This is a very good value play on a great player. And all ties pay. Take it.

Brooks Koepka (+120) over Collin Morikawa (-150) at FanDuel

This wager at FanDuel will hinge on Brooks Koepka's surgically repaired right knee. A four-time major champion, Koepka has the mettle to shine on the big stage. He fell to Woods here two years ago by just a single shot and was T7 in November. A few weeks ago, it appeared Koepka would not be playing this week. However, Koepka would play on one leg if he could out of spite.

Morikawa at +2900 to win seems undervalued like several other 20-something peers in the field. "If I knew I was going to finish second, I would not have showed up," Koepka said Sunday after playing four holes at Augusta. So, I feel like I can win." If you think Koepka is healthy or he plays like it, this is a great value at +120.

Both Thomas and DeChambeau holed aces on the par-3, 173-yard 16th hole in 2019, just 13 groupings apart in the final round. The final stop on Amen Corner has yielded 22 holes-in-one overall, with half coming in the past 10 tournaments. The other par-3s – No. 4, No. 6 and No. 12 – have given up just nine holes-in-one combined in the previous 74 Masters.

This is all about Sunday pin placement. Hence the high number at BetMGM in comparison to the other three rounds (all are +900). It had been traditionally been back-left in recent years until 2020 when it was moved back-right. That previous pin placement had allowed for 14 aces on No. 13 in the final round from 2005-19. Three were made in 2016.

This bet will hinge on that final-round pin placement. Even the stuffed shirts at Augusta National love good television, and there's nothing more exciting in a field without Woods than a hole-in-one on Sunday at Augusta.

And who's to say someone like DeChambeau won't get lucky driving the green on 350-yard, par-4 third hole in a bid to make a move? This is nice way to buy yourself a rooting interest until the final grouping finishes 13 on Sunday.

Justin Thomas is +1000 to in it all at FanDuel. He recovered from a rough February with a win at the Players. J.T. will be playing in his sixth Masters. He has improved from T39 in 2016 to 4th in 2020. Of the 53 golfers who have won the Masters, the average champion won his first title in that sixth appearance.

Jordan Spieth (+1000) won here in 2015 but pulled an historic collapse a year later. Before his victory Sunday in the Texas Open, Spieth had not won on Tour since the 2017 British Open. Spieth was +5000 when 2021 Masters odds were first posted. The time for value betting on Spieth has passed. This one is worth a wager just for the rooting interest. Avoid the emotion of the moment and bank on J.T. winning this duel.

Top Arizona State Finisher Jon Rahm (-137, William Hill)

This is one of the most "exotic" props we've seen thus far, and it's available at William Hill. There isn't much value considering Rahm is considered among the overall favorites at +1200 and is slotted as the top Continental European player at +110. Rahm, just 26, has finished in the top 10 in three of his four Masters starts.

His personal hero and inspiration - the late Seve Ballesteros - won here twice. Casey might be worth a play. His best finish in the Masters is T4 in 2016. However, Rahm is poised for big run this week and this might be an easy way to profit with minimal risk.
