An elite Monday Night Football showdown puts a cap on Week 3 of the 2025 NFL season, as Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens host Jared Goff and the Detroit Lions.

The Ravens (1-1) have scored 40 and 41 points in their two games, while the Lions (1-1) just plastered the Bears for 52 points. Fireworks are expected for Monday night.

The Lions got surprised by the Packers in Week 1, then scored 52 on the hapless Bears. Baltimore allowed 41 points in Week 1, so there’s no reason Detroit can’t keep scoring. The Ravens are going to get theirs, too, but under Dan Campbell, the Lions are 16-4 ATS (80%) when winning their prior game by 11 or more.

Detroit is Top 10 on both sides of the ball, Baltimore ranks 31st in defense and was outgained by the Browns in Week 2, despite winning 41-17. We also get the potential for back-door covering with a high-scoring offense. I locked this in at +5.5 earlier in the week, but 4.5 isn’t bad either. Back Detroit to hang and cover.

Lions vs. Ravens Over/Under

The teams combine to average 73 ppg. Are they going to do that here? Not likely. But if they can come within three touchdowns of their average, the Over hits.

Baltimore’s defense has had major issues vs. the pass, offering a prime spot for Goff and his weapons. Detroit has given up 27 and 21 points, a consistent mark that Baltimore can certainly go over.
