Each team had convincing, two-score victories at home on Sunday. But the Packers’ 27-13 beatdown of the Lions felt different. Jordan Love was on point against one of the premier NFL defenses, and the addition of Micah Parsons to the defense made everyone better.

Jayden Daniels did his thing, and the Commanders gained 6.9 yards per rush. The defense stifled Russell Wilson. Both teams are going to score, but the path for Love, Josh Jacobs, and the Packers, especially at home, is clearer. Lay the 3.5 points with the home Pack.

Commanders vs. Packers Over/Under

Neither game these teams played in Week 1 hit the Over. Combined, however, they scored 48 points, and the offenses have advantages in this Week 2 matchup.

The Commanders' secondary has holes that can’t be covered against a team that doesn’t have a true go-to receiver. Ten players caught passes for the Packers vs. the Lions. The Packers’ secondary is also a concern, especially if the defense can’t put pressure on Daniels. Look for both QBs to have solid games on Thursday, and for the total to clear the Over.

1. Jordan Love, Over 1.5 Touchdowns (-115): Coach Matt LaFleur loves balance. Love threw the ball just 22 times, completing 16 for 188 yards, a solid 8/5 yards per attempt, but low in terms of total. Love remains a gunslinger, however, and he takes his shots. He tossed two TDs in the opener, and passing balance is probably the best way for Green Bay to score here.

2. Deebo Samuel, Over 4.5 Receptions (-126): Daniels and Deebo connected seven times in Week 1, for 77 yards. Terry McLaurin is likely to get more action here, but Deebo’s physicality makes him a more likely target again vs. a pressure-fueled Packers front.

3. Rashan Gary, Over 0.25 Sacks (+131): Micah Parsons sacked Daniels 4.5 times in two games last season. Washington will make stopping Parsons a priority, which opens the door for the Packers’ other edge rusher. Gary had 1.5 sacks vs. the Lions and just needs to meet at the QB once for the Over.
