The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 at Super Bowl 59, powered by their high-flying offense orchestrated by offensive coordinator Kellen Moore. Following the Birds’ big win, it was announced that Moore was leaving the Eagles to take the head coaching job with the New Orleans Saints. The Eagles will now embark on the process of hiring the team’s offensive coordinator as they look to get back to the big game and repeat as world champions.

With the Eagles now on the hunt for their next offensive coordinator, Bookies.com veteran oddsmaker Adam Thompson has put together hypothetical NFL betting odds for who will get the gig.

Top Contenders

Kevin Patullo, Eagles Pass Coord. (+250)

NFL teams typically prefer to promote from within for the coordinator roles, especially when they had a successful season, so it makes sense that Patullo would move from the Eagles' Passing Game coordinator to the Eagles' OC, and he is Thompson’s favorite to land the gig.

Bobby Slowik, former Texans OC (+400)

Slowik was surprisingly canned as the Texans' OC but remains a high-profile coach who could be a nice fit with the Eagles if they are interested in signing him.

Marcus Brady, Chargers Pass Coord. (+500)

Brady has done a terrific job with the LA Chargers as their Passing Game Coordinator and would be a good candidate to take the Eagles' OC job, as well.

Jerrod Johnson, Texans QB Coach (+900)

Johnson has done great work with Texans QB CJ Stroud and would make a logical choice as the Eagles' OC if they are interested in bringing him over.

Josh McCown, Vikings QB Coach (+1200)

McCown is a former NFL QB who did an amazing job working with Vikings QB Sam Darnold this year, and he could be the kind of up-and-coming coach the Eagles could put into their OC role.

Other Possible Candidates

Darrell Bevell, Dolphins QB Coach (+1200)

Bevell has done a good job with Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa, so it makes sense that he would be considered for a promotion within the league from a QB coach to an OC.

Frank Reich, former Panthers HC (+1500)

Reich has struggled as an NFL head coach but remains known as a QB whisperer and would be a solid choice as the Eagles' OC.

Tee Martin, Ravens QB Coach (+1500)

Martin has done a terrific job with Lamar Jackson as the Ravens' QB coach and would be an interesting candidate to take the role of the Eagles' OC.

David Girardi, Chiefs QB Coach (+1800)

Wouldn’t it be something if the Chiefs’ QB coach swapped sidelines and joined the Eagles as their OC after what just happened at Super Bowl 59?

Lincoln Riley, USC Coach (+2000)

If Riley wants to leave college and get into the NFL, taking the Eagles' OC job would be a good way for him to show his candidacy as a potential NFL head coach with a stacked offense that could help make his play-calling shine.

The Field (+1600)

Since the Eagles’ OC position will be highly coveted, there will certainly be other coaches who would consider taking it, leaving the field as a viable option.
