5 Titans-Broncos Prop Bets & Betting Lines to Back on MNF

The opening week of the 2020 NFL season concludes on Monday night when Drew Lock and the Denver Broncos host Ryan Tannehill and the Tennessee Titans for the second of two Monday Night Football matchups.
The Broncos added talent and depth around second-year QB Lock, while the Titans are locked and loaded for another run at the AFC Championship after finishing just one win short of a Super Bowl berth last season.
Denver is 6-1 against the spread in its last seven vs. Tennessee, but the Titans have covered the spread in seven of their last eight Monday night games. Let’s take a look at some of the best bets fans of NFL betting should consider:

Broncos +2.5 over Titans
These teams are similar in a lot of ways, with the run game dictating the action and strong defensive fronts. I expect this to be a close game, decided perhaps by a late kick. The points are valuable here. Play this at Unibet.
Titans-Broncos Over 41

Each team should have a solid defense, especially the Broncos. But the offense may have the edge here. The Broncos surrounded Lock with a plethora of weapons in the offseason, including RB Melvin Gordon via free agency and WR Jerry Jeudy in the draft. The Titans stayed pat, but you can do that with underrated QB Ryan Tannehill (second to Drew Brees in QB rating) and NFL rushing leader Derrick Henry. This line is too low, considering the weaponry for each side. Bet this at DraftKings.

Outcome Of First Drive — Punt
The Broncos got the ball first five times last season. Four of those drives ended in three-and-outs. It would behoove this wager for Denver to defer to the second half. The Titans had 12 opening-game drives in 2019 and only four resulted in punts — three more resulted in turnovers. For an opening week in which defenses should initially have an edge over offenses, this looks like a good wager to open the game. Look for this at BetMGM.

Longest TD — Under 1.5 Yards

The Broncos handled Lock with kid gloves last year, and he rarely tossed it far downfield. Those should come off eventually, but for Week 1, probably without No. 1 target Courtland Sutton and with Gordon now in the fold, Denver is going to run first. The same goes for the Titans with Henry. Somebody’s punching it in from short. Take this at PointsBet.
Second Half — Broncos ML
If there is an X-factor in this game, it might be Denver’s altitude. It’s always in the minds of visiting teams, but that should be especially true this season. Teams are as ill-prepared for real action as ever, with no preseason games or OTAs. Fatigue could set in more for the Titans than the Broncos in the second half. Look for this at BetMGM.
