2025 Best PGA DFS Picks & Top DraftKings Plays For PGA Championship

The PGA Championship tees off from historic Quail Hollow in Charlotte. It is the ultimate test of a golfer’s overall game, one that generated a winning score of just 8-under par the last time it hosted the PGA, in 2017. 

It’s a two-golfer race according to most online sportsbooks. Scottie Scheffler is a strong favorite at +425 Masters odds, while Rory McIlroy, fresh off his first-ever win at The Masters, is second at +500. 

LIV golfer Bryson DeChambeau is next on the board at +950. Oddsmakers consider those three to be the only true contenders. Jon Rahm is fourth all the way at +1800.

Odds: +1200 and +230 at DraftKings

There's one player on the PGA Tour who ranks Top 20 in putting average, SG: Around the Green and in Drive Accuracy, three key traits in competing at Quail Hollow. It's Sungjae. He has three Top 5 finishes in 14 events, including at The Masters. He can handle major pressure, which is another big asset. We're doubling down on Sungjae.

Odds: +200 at DraftKings

Rory is part of a bettable, star-studded five-some that includes Scottie Scheffler, Jon Rahm, Bryson DeChambeau, and Xander Schauffele. If anyone can compete with Scottie right now, it’s Rory, who has played in eight tournaments this season and finished Top 7 in six of them. His driver can put him in the right spots and despite his putting woes in the final holes at The Masters, he’s fourth in putting. 

Odds: +280 at BetMGM

Kim appears to be all in or all out at some tournaments. In his last 10 events, he’s finished in the Top 25 in seven of them, but missed the cut twice and was 38th at the other. This is a course that suits his game, so he should not only make the cut but also play strong down the stretch. Nearly 3/1 odds for a Top 20 seems like considerable value. 

Odds: +120 at Caesars Sportsbook

Bradley is +17000 to win the PGA Championship, but he’s -190 to make the cut. We’ll meet in the middle. He’s made the cut in 11 of his 12 events, and in those 11 finished Top 40 on eight occasions. His putting isn’t terrible, but it’s his weakness. If he is steady on the greens, Top 40 is a good bet. 

$10,000 or Higher

Rory McIlroy ($12,200) ranks second only behind Scheffler ($13,400) in cost. But he’s a good bet to compete for the title. His driving accuracy and putting acumen rank higher than Scottie's, and those are more key than usual at Quail Hollow. 

Collin Morikawa ($10,400) hasn’t missed a cut in 2025, and he’s finished 17th or higher in all but two events. There’s something to be said for that level of steadiness, even at this cost. 

Shane Lowry ($9,200) took second at last week’s Truist Championship, his sixth Top 20 finish in the last seven tournaments. He’s 15th in Strokes Gained: Around the Green, which should come into play this weekend. 

Tommy Fleetwood ($9,100) is 10-for-10 on cuts, and only once was he outside the Top 22. His top-five ranking in putting is his key weapon for Quail Hollow.

Sungjae Im ($8,200) is my key player this weekend. It’s not based on his current play, but on potential. No player suits this course more on the PGA Tour than the South Korean. 

$7,999-Under

Si Woo Kim ($7,700) is a hit-or-miss golfer, but he’s coming off his third-straight Top 20 and he’s game perfectly fits Quail Hollow – as long as he can hit putts. 

Keegan Bradley ($7,200) doesn’t miss cuts and has three finishes in the Top 20 in his last five events. That’s what you seek from someone this far down the salary chart.
