There is no doubt – it’s not even a conversation – that Caitlin Clark, in her second pro season, is already the most-impactful WNBA star in history.
In her first full season, the Indiana Fever guard set rookie season records for points, assists, and 3-pointers.
Her popularity hasn’t only boosted the WNBA to uncharted levels of popularity. It’s taken women’s basketball ticket prices to new heights.
On average, a ticket to attend a WNBA game rises by 152% when Clark is in the building.
The lowest available ticket (get-in-the-door price) to a WNBA game in 2025 is $37.87, according to Vivid Seats. When Clark and the Fever come to town, that number skyrockets to $95.55.
In some locales, prices jump by more than 250%.
Caitlin Clark’s presence is so influential that even betting odds shift when she plays, just like the spike in ticket prices.
To quantify Clark’s impact, Bookies.com performed a full-season ticket price analysis for all 12 WNBA teams that hosted the Indiana Fever during the 2025 season.
Partnering with Vivid Seats, the lowest available ticket price for every home game was calculated then averaged out. Bookies.com compare that to the one home game with Calrk and the Fever.
For teams with multiple home matchups with the Fever, prices were averaged to ensure consistency across the dataset.
Eleven of the 12 WNBA teams had its prices rise at least 80% on the date the Fever are in town. In nine of those 11 cases, the price more than doubled.
And in five cities, the prices more than tripled.
Connecticut Sun fans can typically see their team for an average of $31.95. When Clark is in town, the price is $131 – a 310% increase.
That jump is the biggest in the league, but not the priciest. That honor goes to the Dallas Wings. Dallas was the bottom team in the WNBA last season, but used the No. 1 pick on former UConn star Paige Bueckers. Regular Dallas tickets are $60.86 on average. When the two meet in Texas on June 27 at American Airlines Center, it’s $148.50.
Fans of the Phoenix Mercury (258%), Seattle Storm (256%), Golden State Valkyries (231.%) and New York Liberty (221%) are also paying way more than usual.
Betting apps are taking notice too—odds shift sharply when Caitlin Clark and the Fever hit the road, just like ticket prices that more than triple in cities like Connecticut, Phoenix, and Seattle.
