Asian Handicap
Bayern Munich over Fortuna Dussldorf -3 Asian Handicap
Bayern Munich opened up a seven-point lead at the top of the Bundesliga table when it picked up a vital 1-0 win away at Borussia Dortmund last time out. It can take another giant stride towards clinching the title if it beats relegation-threatened Fortuna Dusseldorf on Saturday. Hansi Flick’s side should cruise to a routine victory. Bayern beat Dusseldorf 4-0 on the road earlier this season, and it has the quality to pull off a similar result this weekend. It is on a long unbeaten streak, whereas Dusseldorf has not won since February. Bayern has a large squad, which is crucial at this time of the season, and its forwards should be able to tear their opponents apart.
Wolfsburg over Eintracht Frankfurt
Wolfsburg should be surging with confidence after thumping title-chasing Bayer Leverkusen 4-1 in midweek. That made it two wins out of three games for Oliver Glasner’s, lifting them up to sixth in the table. Eintracht Frankfurt is marooned in 16th place after enduring a poor spell of form since the Bundesliga returned. It has conceded 11 goals in its last three games, and that leaky defense has left it perilously close to the relegation zone. Eintracht Frankfurt is also lumbered with a dreadful away record – it has lost 10 of 13 games on the road so far this season – so Wolfsburg should secure an important victory in this game.
Asian Handicap
Borussia Monchengladbach Ocer Union Berlin -1 Asian Handicap
Borussia Monchegladbach will bid to revive its fading Bundesliga title challenge when it hosts Union Berlin on Sunday. Gladbach returned to action with a superb 3-1 away win against Eintract Frankfurt, but it has since lost 3-1 to Bayer Leverksen and drawn 0-0 with Werder Bremen. That leaves it 11 points behind leader Bayern Munich. However, it should be able to return to its winning ways this weekend. Union Berlin is in freefall, having lost all three games since the season restarted. It beat Gladbach 2-0 in Berlin back in November, but now Marco Rose’s men will be keen for revenge, and they should be able to take all three points.
Asian Handicap
Borussia Dortmund over Paderborn -1.5 Asian handicap
Borussia Dortmund will need to rally after suffering a heartbreaking defeat to Bayern in midweek. That result left it seven points behind the league leader. It still has a faint chance of clawing its way back into a title race, but it needs to be immaculate between now and the end of the season. Paderborn is a good place to start. The newly promoted side has lost 10 out of 14 home games so far this season, conceding 32 goals in the process, and that has left it rooted to the foot of the table. Paderborn looks certain to drop straight back down to Bundesliga 2, and Dortmund should sweep it aside this weekend.
