Relegated Hornets Can Sting Chelsea In The First Half

Watford fans will turn up at Stamford Bridge knowing this could be their last Premier League fixture for a while as they prepare to drop into the Championship next season. Those fans will hope to make an immediate return to the top flight like they did the last time they were demoted.

The curtain comes down on a turbulent season for Chelsea whose title hopes fizzled out in the second half of the season. Losing both domestic cup finals will hurt and the summer promises to be a busy one for Thomas Tuchel and the club's possible new owners.

Chelsea are the only team in the Premier League not to trail at half-time. The last team to go through a full season without being behind at the break, was Manchester City in the 2017/18 season. Watford are 11/1 with Coral to lead at 45 minutes which is too good a price to ignore. Stranger things have happened on the final day of the season.

Elsewhere, here are some of the longest streaks in the Premier League:

6 games: Man City (v Aston Villa) Scored 2 or more goals. Won 2nd half

6 games: Wolves (@ Liverpool) Conceded 1st goal

5 games: Newcastle (@ Burnley) BTTS - no

5 games: Norwich (v Tottenham) Lost the 2nd half

5 games: Southampton (@ Leicester) Conceded 2 goals or more

4 games: Aston Villa (@ Man City) BTTS - yes

4 games: Brighton (v West Ham) Scored 1st goal

4 games: Leeds (@ Brentford) Conceded 1st goal

4 games: Leicester (v Southampton) Not conceded 2nd half goal

4 games: Tottenham (@ Norwich) Scored 1st goal

Venezia Ready To Ruin Cagliari's Survival Bid

We know that Venezia will be relegated from Serie A this weekend, but Cagliari will be doing all they can to avoid joining them in Italy's second tier. Cagliari simply have to win this game and hope Salernitana lose at home to Sassuolo. Anything other than that will result in relegation.

Cagliari manager Walter Mazzarri has to decide how his team approaches this game. Remain patient knowing Venezia could look to end the season with a bang, or go gung-ho from the start and leave gaps at the back for their opponents to exploit. Either way, we could see a few goals in this contest.

Despite being relegated, Venezia have opened the scoring in their previous two Serie A games at home to Bologna and at Roma last weekend. Cagliari are in danger of being relegated because they have been slow out of the blocks in recents months conceding the first goal in seven of their last 10 league games. We're confident Venezia will score the first goal which is available at 7/4 with SpreadEx.

Elsewhere in Serie A, here are some of the current streaks:

7 games: Genoa (v Bologna) Not scored 1st half goal

6 games: Inter (v Sampdoria) BTTS - yes & over 2.5 goals

6 games: Juventus (@ Fiorentina) BTTS - yes

6 games: Roma (@ Torino) Not scored 1st goal

5 games: Lazio (v Verona) 6 match goal scored 46-60 minute

5 games: Napoli (@ Spezia) Scored 1st goal

5 games: Empoli (@ Atalanta) BTTS - yes

5 games: Salernitana (v Udinese) BTTS - yes

5 games: Spezia (v Napoli) BTTS - yes & over 2.5 goals

5 games: Verona (@ Lazio) BTTS - yes

4 games: Bologna (@ Genoa) Not scored 1st goal

4 games: Sassuolo (@ Bologna) BTTS - yes

Cadiz Need Help in Spanish Relegation Battle

The stakes are high in La Liga as five teams fight for their lives at the bottom. Three points separate Getafe, Elche, Granada and Mallorca who start the weekend above the drop zone. Cadiz are the fifth side in that equation and a lot of pieces have to fall in place for their survival to be assured.

Cadiz travel to already-relegated Alaves knowing this could well be a fixture next season too. But if Cadiz win at Alaves and Mallorca lose at Osasuna, then Cadiz will be safe. But Alaves will not simply roll over on home soil.

Now that the pressure is off, Alaves have started recent games lively scoring the first goal in three of their last four including their last two. Cadiz have conceded the opening goal in their previous two contests which is why Coral is offering odds of 33/20 for Alaves to score the first goal on Sunday.

Elsewhere in La Liga, here are some of the current streaks:

10 games: Real Betis (@ Real Madrid) Not conceded 1st half goal

7 games: Real Madrid (v Real Betis) Not conceded 2nd half goal

6 games: Espanyol (@ Granada) Conceded 1st goal

5 games: Alaves (v Cadiz) Over 2.5 goals

5 games: Atletico (@ Sociedad) Under 2.5 goals

5 games: Getafe (@ Elche) Under 2.5 goals

5 games: Valencia (v Celta Vigo) Not scored 2nd half goal

4 games: Ath Bilbao (@ Sevilla) BTTS - no & under 2.5 goals

4 games: Barcelona (v Villarreal) Not conceded 1st goal

4 games: Elche (v Getafe) Conceded 1st goal

4 games: Levante (@ R Vallecano) Not scored 1st half goal

4 games: Osasuna (v Mallorca) Under 2.5 goals

4 games: Sevilla (v Ath Bilbao) Under 2.5 goals.

4 games: Villarreal (@ Barcelona) BTTS - yes

4 games: R Vallecano (v Levante) Not scored 1st goal

Marseille And Strasbourg To End Season With A Whimper

Goals have flowed freely in Ligue 1 in recent weeks, with 30 or more goals scored in each of the last four round of fixtures.

While both teams to score and over 2.5 total goals have been winning bets for a lot of Ligue 1 teams, that has not been the case for Marseille and Strasbourg. BTTS has not landed in Marseille's last four matches while Strasbourg have won their last two games 1-0. BetVictor are offering odds of 7/5 for one or both these teams to fail to score.

Marseille have a chance of finishing second if they can better the result Monaco achieve at Lens. Both teams are locked on 68 points and home advantage could be the key for Marseille in what could be a low-scoring game.

Elsewhere, here are some of Ligue 1's longest streaks:

8 games: Montpellier (@ Angers) Not scored 1st goal

8 games: Nantes (v St-Etienne) BTTS - yes

6 games: Lyon (@ Clermont) Over 2.5 goals

5 games: Lille (v Rennes) Not scored 1st half goal

4 games: Lens (@ v Monaco) BTTS - yes. Conceded 1st goal

4 games: Rennes (@ Lille) Scored 1st goal

4 games: Lorient (v Troyes) Not scored 1st goal

4 games: Monaco (@ Lens) Scored both halves
