PFA Player of the Year 2025/26 Odds

Phil Foden was the winner of the 2023/24 PFA Player of the Year award, but the Englishman will not be picking up the title for a second consecutive year after patchy form by his standards has left the path clear what looks like a record third win for Mo Salah.

Bukayo Saka and Florian Wirtz are the favourites to take home next year's PFA Player of the Year award with most football betting sites at the moment, with the German international looking to be the ninth Liverpool player to win the award.

Wirtz Close Behind Saka

Wirtz's stellar performances for Leverkusen two seasons ago saw the side pick up their first ever Bundesliga title and go an entire domestic season unbeaten. Last season he continued his form leading to a number of Europe's top clubs trying to secure his services. With his stock so high betting apps now think there's a fair chance he can be the first German to pick up the PFA award in his first season in the Premier League. 

The German international is a key performer for both club and country, and is the only player in Europe's top five leagues to record at least 10 goals and assists in both the last two seasons. Mo Salah and Cole Palmer High On The List

Cole Palmer has been one of the best signings of recent seasons and was one of Chelsea's best players whenever he was on the pitch in their run to forth place in the Premier League last year. He is an all-action presence in the middle of the park either dropping deep to receive the ball or in more advanced positions playing alongside the central striker.

If Chelsea are able to push on to a title challenge the Palmer might be a potential winner of the PFA Player of the Award with the amount of goals and assists he racks up. Something which has not been ruled out with most UK betting sites offering him at a single-figure price.

The same can be said for his Liverpool and Egypt's Mo Salah, who was once again his team's most productive player in the league as he picked up a second Premier League winners medal with the Reds, scoring 29 goals and providing 18 assists last term. Erling Haaland Patchy Form Counts Against Him

Erling Haaland is fast on the way to becoming a Manchester City legend. The Norwegian scored 22 Premier League goals last season despite an injury hit campaign. The forward led the scoring charts earlier in the season at better than a goal a game but then injury struck, and he hasn't been the same efficient scorer he was prior to that.

So much so that bookies are not sold that Haaland will scoop the award for the second time. He has still scored 85 goals in 97 Premier League games, but he there does seem to be a recent trend of lavishing plaudits on other members of the Man City side, with Foden and Rodri being recognised in recent years.
