Tip 4 - 2:20 Sandown - Doyen Quest

Doyen Quest showed his promise when making it two from four over fences last time out to beat one of today’s rivals, Quebecois, by 10 lengths. There has been a marked difference in the weight and now cedes six pounds when claiming four last time, but that isn’t enough to bridge 10 lengths. What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time. 

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
