Leg 1: New Mexico State-Fresno State Over 51

Odds: -110 at DraftKings

Bowl season officially kicks off on Saturday, and we’ve got a solid slate of matchups right out of the gate with the Aggies and Bulldogs going at it for the New Mexico Bowl in Albuquerque. New Mexico State won eight straight games before a loss at Liberty to end the regular season, while Fresno State dropped three straight for a bummer of a finish.

The Aggies are a -3.5 favorite here, for what should be a thrilling back-and-forth game. Both teams can move the chains and do it in different ways – the Bulldogs have a solid passing attack behind QB Mikey Keene whereas New Mexico State gets it done on the ground. Both of those strengths play into the opposing defense’s weaknesses. There’s gonna be a lot of action here. We’re on over 51.

Leg 2: UCLA -4 Over Boise State

Odds: -112 at DraftKings

Another matchup here in which both teams finished the regular season on opposite trajectories. UCLA lost three of its last four. The Broncos won four straight, largely in blowout fashion, to turn things around after a disastrous start to the year.

UCLA was available at -2.5 a week ago, but it’s up to -4 now and we still think that’s a decent number. It’s pretty simple – the Bruins have the top rushing defense in the nation and Boise State needs balance offensively to get it done. Making matters worse for the Broncos, QB Taylen Green is transferring to Arkansas and won’t suit up. Could be a long night for Boise State. We’re on UCLA -4 for the second leg of our college football parlay .

Leg 3: Cal +3 Over Texas Tech

Odds: -115 at DraftKings

Cal coach Justin Wilcox has been on the hot seat, but his Golden Bears responded with three consecutive wins to end the year at 6-6 and avoid a fourth straight losing season. The long-term outlook for Wilcox isn’t great, but at least the team is showing some fight.

Texas Tech picked it up late in the season before a brutal 57-7 loss at Texas to close things out. The problem, as it’s been for much of the year, was a complete lack of fight in the trenches. The Longhorns rushed for 302 yards a week after Tech gave up 248 yards on the ground in a one-point win over UCF. The Golden Bears should be able to do enough to take advantage. We’re on Cal +3 for the final leg of our first college football parlay .

College Football Bowl Game Parlay Bet No. 2

Bowl Game Parlay Legs Odds
Old Dominion -2.5 over Western Kentucky-112
Marshall-UTSA Under 52.5-110
South Florida +3 over Syracuse-112
Parlay Odds +595 at DraftKings

Leg 1: Old Dominion -2.5 Over Western Kentucky

Odds: -112 at DraftKings

How’s a little Monday afternoon pigskin in Charlotte sound? The Famous Toastery Bowl kicks off at 2:30 p.m. at Jerry Richardson Stadium, where Western Kentucky matches up with Old Dominion for what should be a highly-competitive matchup.

The Monarchs are a small favorite and we understand why – they won their last two games to become bowl eligible at 6-6, erasing a 21-0 third-quarter deficit in the finale to stun Georgia State. We know Old Dominion wants to be here.

We’re not sure about the Hilltoppers, who fell short of expectations all year. Western Kentucky QB Austin Reed threw for more than 3,300 yards this season, but Old Dominion is solid in the secondary and matches up well across the board. We’re on the Monarchs -2.5 for the first leg of our second college football parlay .

Leg 2: Marshall-UTSA Under 52.5

Odds: -110 at DraftKings

The Frisco Bowl takes center stage in primetime Tuesday night as the only bowl offering, even if it doesn’t look like a competitive one on paper. The Road Runners opened at -8.5 and the line has since moved all the way to UTSA -13. Safe to say the Marshall believers are few and far between.

While this could definitely be a blowout in UTSA’s favor, we’re not expecting a ton of points. Marshall is without quarterback Cam Fancher and a host of other offensive contributors who’ve entered the portal, and they weren’t producing at a high level to begin with.

UTSA should have some success, but the Herd defense played better down the stretch holding four straight opponents under 400 yards of total offense. We’re on Under 52.5 for the second leg of this college football parlay. .

Leg 3: South Florida +3 Over Syracuse

Odds: +-112 at DraftKings

The Bulls are back in a bowl game for the first time since 2018 under first-year head coach Alex Golesh, and they don’t have to go far for the Boca Raton Bowl at FAU Stadium to take on Syracuse. The Orange fired coach Dino Babers with one week to go in the regular season, and his team responded with a 35-31 win over Wake Forest to get bowl eligible.

Syracuse will soon join South Florida on the rebuild path, but the Bulls are further ahead in that regard and gaining confidence after a decent year. Quarterback Byrum Brown is dangerous under-center and while the defense has struggled against top offenses, Syracuse is not that.

South Florida had some tough outings mid-season but finished strong and won two of the last three to get here. That’s the kind of resolve we like in December. We’re on South Florida +3.
