A few cancelled games won’t rain on our parlay parade. While a few contests have been postponed or called off because of contact tracing protocols related to COVID-19, there’s plenty of action left on the board. It helps that the Big Ten and Pac-12 have gotten back into the mix.

We’ve got our eyes on a few West Coast games this week for college football betting, with several teams just starting their season.

And while we’ve been mostly taking overs this season, including an all-over, three-leg parlay that hit last week, there are a few unders jumping out this week that stand out. We’ll give those a touch.

The ‘Total Recall’ Parlay

Leg 1: New Mexico-Air Force Under 55

New Mexico quarterback Tevaka Tuioti will be a game-time decision after missing last week due to injury. His return would be a boost for the offense, but we like the total to go under here either way. Air Force has only completed 17 passes through three games and does all of its work on the ground.

New Mexico has actually been strong against the run, allowing only 81 yards per game. The Falcons won’t be able to take advantage of a terrible Lobos secondary and New Mexico won’t be able to do a whole lot when its offense has the ball. We’re on the under here at 55.

Leg 2: San Diego State-Nevada Under 46.5

San Diego State hasn’t played the strongest schedule, but the defensive numbers are impressive regardless. The Aztecs are giving up just 243.5 yards per game and have held three of four opponents to 10 points or less. Nevada is strong on defense as well, holding opponents under 200 yards passing. Both offenses are one-dimensional. San Diego is very run-heavy and Nevada is all about the passing game. We’re expecting a close, hard-fought matchup and a cover for the under at 46.5.

Leg 3: Syracuse-Louisville Over 56.5

Both defenses give up a lot of points, but we expect Louisville to run it up on Saturday. Louisville quarterback Malik Cunningham has struggled in game management with nine interceptions, but he has thrown for nearly 2,000 yards and 15 touchdowns. He should pad those stats quite a bit against the Orange. Syracuse has also played some strong competition lately and should be more effective offensively against this Louisville defense. We like a shootout here and the total to surpass 56.5.
