Clayton Kershaw Next Team Odds: Dodgers, Rangers or Angels?

Clayton Kershaw has won three Cy Young Awards, 184 games (to just 84 losses) and owns a 2.49 career ERA in a hitting-friendly era of baseball.
He’s also a free agent.
Kershaw went 10-8 with a 3.55 ERA in 22 starts – among the worst overall stats of his Hall of Fame career. He missed 10 weeks (left forearm), returned for four starts then was shut down for the rest of the year. Still, the three-time Cy Young Award-winning Kershaw, 33, is expected to be fully healthy for the start of the 2022 season – whenever that is. He’d be a No. 1 starter on a lot of teams.
Bookies.com oddsmaker Adam Thompson has revealed the projected MLB odds as to where Kershaw plays in 202

Kershaw is one of the greatest pitchers in Dodgers history, and baseball history. But L.A.’s lack of a qualifying offer in the off-season marked a possible separation from team and starter.
The Dodgers contend they didn’t want to put pressure on Kershaw to accept and would still like to work something out. Regardless, Kershaw is now an unrestricted free agent.

Rumors are strong that Kershaw would like to return to Texas to be closer to immediate family. Wife Ellen and their four kids live in the Dallas area – the Rangers are right up the road. Texas has money to spend and No. 21 would immediately be starter No. 1 for the AL West team. One former teammate hinted Kershaw would likely retire or return to Texas.
The Mets appear all-in behind pitchers Jacob deGrom and Max Scherzer. The idea of adding Kershaw to be a No. 3 starter might re-open the Mets’ wallet. The Angels and Red Sox are also worth mentioning in our MLB future odds market since they are looking for starting help and have money to bring on a veteran presence. If he prefers to remain in L.A. but the Dodgers are moving on, the Angels could jump at the opportunity.
