There aren’t many big-time names being touted around as the NBA Trade Deadline draws near. But there are some names that could help a team get over the hump. Atlanta Hawks forward Bogdan Bogdanovic is one of them.

Bogdanovic getting moved wouldn’t highlight any news show, but “over half the league” has inquired about his availability, believing he could be a critical piece to a team’s championship run.

Bookies.com oddsmaker Adam Thompson has used his NBA contacts developed over 20 years covering the sport to create these hypothetical NBA futures odds on Bogdanovic’s team following the Feb. 9 trade deadline.

Bogdanovic has been a spot-starter in his six seasons in the NBA, but whether he’s on the court at the tip or not, the man produces. The last three seasons with the Hawks, Bogdanovic has averaged between 15.1 and 16.4 points per game. So far this season, he’s at 15.5 ppg as well as 3.3 rebounds and 3.1 assists.

The Athletic reported that “half the league” has inquired to the Hawks about what it would take to move their important Sixth Man.

Atlanta is reportedly not in a rush to move him. The Hawks must first decide if they’re playing for this year or beyond. While Georgia betting apps are not legal yet, in legal sports betting states the Hawks are around +9000 to win the NBA title this year. Atlanta forward John Collins is also reportedly a trade deadline target.

After the season, Bogdanovic can opt out of the final year of his four-year contract, adding an additional wrinkle to the situation.

So, which teams could use additional talent/depth on the wing for a title run?

Potential Landing Spots For Bogdanovic

The Bulls have been building a roster to be competitive now, but no team attempts fewer 3’s than Chicago, hampering their offensive output. Bogdanovic attempts 7.6 3’s per game, which ranks Top 20 in the NBA despite coming off the bench.

His 2.9 makes per game would be tops on the Bulls roster.

The Cavaliers went all-in when they acquired Donovan Mitchell from the Jazz. It’s worked. But small forward remains the biggest problem spot for Cleveland. Bogdanovic could fill that need, and the team has good pieces to trade to make it work for the Hawks. We have Atlanta as Bogdan's most likely post-trade deadline location, but Cleveland is next in our NBA betting market.

Like the Bulls, the Lakers aren’t very good from the outside, as nobody can consistently make defenses pay for sagging in on LeBron James and Anthony Davis. A player like Bogdanovic could make a huge difference in the L.A. offense.

The Grizzlies rank bottom 10 in half-court offense and 3-point shooting. At second place in the Western Conference, Memphis is a team that should be looking to upgrade at the deadline, and Bogdan addresses a key weakness.

The Knicks struggle mightily in 3-point shooting and bench production. But would Atlanta really trade a key asset to New York?

The Field is led by a few other teams that could make a move in the belief it sets them up for a big run, including the Bucks, Celtics, Warriors and Jazz
