Leg 1: OKC beat Memphis by 51 in Game 1 and by 19 in Game 2. Obviously, that first game was a bit of an anomaly, but the Game 2 score was on par with how the entire season series has gone. The Thunder won all four prior meetings this season by 24, 13, 17, and 21 points. It’s simply a bad matchup for Memphis, and OKC is on a mission to make this a short series.

Leg 2: Jaren Jackson Jr., who averaged 22.2 ppg for the Grizzlies this season, scored four measly points in their Game 1 embarrassment vs. the Thunder. In Game 2, he was more assertive, scoring 26 on 10-of-17 shooting. It’s must-win time for Memphis, and JJJ figured something out. This number is several points below his average, and he scored 27 and 19 in two of the three season meetings with OKC.

Leg 3: Grizzlies center Zach Edey has been a non-factor in the Grizzlies’ first two losses of their series vs. the Thunder. He scored just four points in each, with foul trouble crushing his minutes. Still, he averaged 9.3 ppg in April on over 30 mpg. The 7-4, 300-pound Edey needs to be more of a factor if Memphis is to be competitive.
