Leg 1: Heat big man Bam Adebayo averages 22.4 P/A on the season, and he hasn’t exploded in production vs. the Hawks in four games (over 20 just once). But the Hawks rank dead-last in points allowed to power forwards, and dead-last in assists allowed to power forwards. Last postseason, he scored 20-plus in all five games, adding 3.8 apg.

Leg 2: Since joining the Heat in a midseason trade, Andrew Wiggins’ PRA average stands at 27.5. This is just one point above that, but the Hawks are 30th out of 30 teams in PRA average against small forwards. Tyler Herro will attract attention after his scoring outburst vs. the Bulls, which will open up additional opportunities for Wiggins.

Leg 3: Hawks shooter Trae Young went 6-for-12 on 3’s the last time the Hawks played the Heat. Miami still won by 10. The previous three meetings this season, however, Young made three 3’s – combined, and on 22 attempts (13.6%). Young and the Hawks may find a path to success, but Trae launching treys isn’t it.
