NBA Same Game Parlay: Minnesota Timberwolves at Oklahoma City Thunder

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the top-seeded Thunder host Anthony Edwards and the Timberwolves to tip off what should be an electric Western Conference Finals best-of-7 series. The teams split four regular-season games, each going 1-1 on the home court. 

Leg 1: Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert scored between 1 and 27 points in 10 Timberwolves playoff games. But he’s scored 8+ in four of five vs. the Warriors, and averaged 12 ppg on the season. The center spot is one of the few spots where OKC doesn’t excel defensively. Gobert getting into double figures should be a key strategy for Minnesota. 

Leg 2: Wolves point guard Mike Conley averaged 2.6 rpg on the season, but he’s hit over on this number in three straight playoff games. OKC ranks No. 2 in fewest points allowed to opposing PGs, but is 27th in rebounds given up to the position. The veteran can step up from the 1.0 RPG he averaged vs. the Thunder in the regular season.

Leg 3: Alex Caruso is coming off the bench for the Thunder, but he’s getting more minutes at SG than the starter, Lu Dort. In the nine playoff games he’s played at least 12 minutes, Caruso has scored in double figures in seven, and was just one bucket under this total in the other two. Minnesota is stellar defensively at PG, SF, and PF, but less so at SG.
