The Over might be more fun when it comes to NFL betting, but the Under is there the money goes, at least for the 2021 NFL season.

Through 254 results that didn’t end in a push, the Under has cashed in 139 instances, a win rate of 54.8%. And it’s not about picking the right times in the right situations; it’s about betting sites setting the lines too high.

Only 11 of the 32 teams have hit the Over more often, and only two had are better than 5-3. The Rams (5-3-1 on the Over and Colts (6-3) lead the way. Conversely, the Under has hit just once in Steelers and Seahawks games. It’s something to consider when examining NFL Week 10 odds before making your NFL picks.

Sunday, Nov. 14

Jacksonville Jaguars at Indianapolis Colts (-10), 1 p.m. ET

The Jaguars outgained the Seahawks in Week 8 but still got handled 31-7. Then they scored just nine points in Week 9 to the mighty Bills – and got the win. Jacksonville flipped every script by holding Buffalo to 301 total yards of offense and forcing three Josh Allen turnovers. Trevor Lawrence has passed the ball 81 times the past two weeks but has just 356 yards to show for it.

Carson Wentz had a QB rating over 100 in four straight games, a run that ended with a thud vs. the rival Titans in Week 8. He bounced back nicely vs. the Jets last Thursday, passing for 272 yards, three TDs and no INTs in a 45-30 win. The Indy offense has scored at least 27 points in five straight games. Wentz torched the Jaguars for 286 yards and three TDs in his one career matchup.

Take a look at Jaguars vs Colts odds, injury report, betting lines and more.

Cleveland Browns at New England Patriots (-2.5), 1 p.m. ET

The Browns won the turnover battle 3-0 in a big road win at Cincinnati in Week 9, and that included a 99-yard pick-6. Nick Chubb gained 137 rushing yards with two TDs, and Baker Mayfield looked pain-free from his shoulder injury (two TDs). The 41-16 blowout win marked the first time in four weeks the Browns scored more than 17 points. The Browns D still ranks top 10 vs. both the run and the pass.

Mac Jones had a QB rating of over 100 in the Patriots’ last two games heading into Week 8. He didn’t hit that mark vs. the Chargers, but he hit the more-important stat: New England pulled off a 27-24 upset victory. Same thing for Week 9. Jones passed for only 139 yards, but the Pats beat the Panthers 24-6 thanks to a defense that forced three INTs, including a pick-6. The Patriots defense ranks bottom-5 in pressuring the QB but top-5 in QB rating allowed. Don't look know, but New England is just a game back of the Bills in the AFC East.

New Orleans Saints at Tennessee Titans (-3), 1 p.m. ET

The Saints had allowed 375 yards to Tom Brady in Week 8, but rattled him for two INTs, including a game-clinching pick-6, and beat the Bucs 36-27 to make a statement in the NFC South race. They followed that up, however, with a surprising home loss to the Falcons. Trevor Siemian, the replacement for lost QB Jameis Winston (ACL), had an inconsistent first start. A defense that ranked top five in QB rating allowed and in completion percentage must regroup after being lit up by Matt Ryan (343 yards, 77%).

The Titans are on a four-game win streak with impressive victories over the Bills, Chiefs, Colts and now the Rams. The offense mustered just 194 yards vs. L.A. in its first game without NFL lead RB Derrick Henry, but the defense turned two turnovers into 14 points in a 28-16 win. Tennessee already owns a commanding 2.5-game lead in the AFC South.

Take a look at Saints vs Titans odds, injury report, betting lines and more.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-9) at Washington Football Team, 1 p.m. ET

Tom Brady has shown no signs of slowing down. The Buccaneers QB leads the NFL in pass yards per game (331.3) and touchdowns, each by a sizeable margin. On defense, Tampa Bay ranks No. 1 vs. the run and only 20th vs. the pass, but much of that is due to falling behind early. After allowing 314 pass yards per game the first five weeks, it’s allowing just 163 the last three games.

The bye week came at a good time for Washington, which has lost four in a row. While the defense ranks 27th in yards allowed, it’s the offense that has really faltered by managing 10-13 points in each of the last three games. QB Taylor Heinicke has five TDs and one INT in two wins combined, and five TDs with eight INTs in four losses.

Take a look at Washington vs Buccaneers odds, injury report, betting lines and more.

Buffalo Bills (-13.5) at New York Jets, 1 p.m. ET

The Bills ranked No. 1 in points scored before putting up a scant six points against the Jaguars, one of the bottom defenses in the NFL, in a stunning 9-6 defeat. The defense has shut down QBs and that didn’t change against Jacksonville, holding Trevor Lawrence to 118 yards through the air. Buffalo’s defense ranks No. 1 in the NFL in QB rating allowed and yards per attempt. This team will be fired up for its AFC East rivals.

The Jets offense has turned it up the last two weeks. In Week 8, Mike White passed for 405 yards in an upset win over the Bengals. In Week 9’s Thursday Night Football game, White got injured but New York still managed 30 points. The defense, however, allowed 45. The Jets have lost three of four in this AFC East series, but each by 10 points or less prior to last week’s 15-point defeat.

Atlanta Falcons at Dallas Cowboys (-8), 1 p.m. ET

Atlanta beat New Orleans in Week 9, improving to 4-4 with its last five games decided by a TD or less. The defense blew an 18-point lead in the fourth quarter but Matt Ryan connected on a huge pass late, capping off a 343-yard passing outburst. Meanwhile, the defense has improved vs. the pass, allowing 214 ypg the last four weeks compared to 264 the previous four.

The Cowboys had the best offense in the NFL going into Week 9, but it was completely shut down in a humbling home loss to the Broncos. Despite ranking No. 1 in scoring, No. 1 in passing and No. 1 in yards, Dallas trailed 30-0 in the fourth quarter and gained just 290 total yards. The defense has shown improvement, especially in the yards allowed department, though the Broncos gained 70 yards over their season average.

Take a look at Falcons vs Cowboys odds, injury report, betting lines and more.

Detroit Lions at Pittsburgh Steelers (-6.5), 1 p.m. ET

The Lions are averaging just 16.8 ppg but haven’t scored over 19 points since Week 7 and are averaging just 12 the last three games. Detroit had its bye week to regroup; it’s won two of its last three following the off-week.

The Steelers raised some red flags despite a 29-27 Monday night win at Chicago. The defense allowed 414 total yards to the worst offense in the game, including 291 through the air to Justin Fields, who was averaging half that. Ben Roethlisberger had his lowest passing total since Week 1 but was INT free for the fourth straight game. Despite the issues, the Steelers still won the game.

Take a look at Steelers vs Lions odds, injury report, betting lines and more.

Carolina Panthers at Arizona Cardinals (-10), 4:05 p.m. ET

The Panthers righted the ship in a 19-13 win at Atlanta in Week 8 but fell back off in a 24-6 loss to the Patriots last week despite the awaited return of RB Christian McCaffrey. He had 106 total yards, but Sam Darnold was a brutal 16-of-33 with three INTs; now he’s out 4-6 weeks and P.J. Walker is in. Carolina’s third-ranked defense held Atlanta’s potent offense to just 212 yards two weeks ago and the Pats to 270 this week.

No Kyler Murray, no DeAndre Hopkins, no problems for the Cardinals in an impressive 31-17 road win over the rival 49ers. James Conner accounted for 177 yards and three TDs and shorthanded Arizona tallied 100 more yards than San Francisco. Arizona remains a top-5 scoring team while the defense has especially been strong vs. the pass and owns the No. 1 third-down defense in the NFL.

Take a look at Panthers vs Cardinals odds, injury report, betting lines and more.

Minnesota Vikings at Los Angeles Chargers (-3.5), 4:05 p.m. ET

Minnesota ranked top-10 in rushing and in passing but were shut down by a so-so Cowboys defense, in a Week 8 20-16 loss. They couldn’t get the ball in a 34-31 hard-luck OT loss to the Ravens in Week 9. Baltimore held the ball for 46 minutes compared to just under 24 for Minnesota. Reason for optimism: Kirk Cousins has 16 TDs and just two INTs, and the Vikings defense leads the NFL in sacks and ranks No. 1 in pressuring the QB.

A Chargers’ pass defense allowing just 205 pass yards per game held Jalen Hurts to 155 through the air in a Week 9 win over the Eagles. But the Chargers also rank last in yards per game on the ground, with another 176 allowed vs. the Eagles. Still, there is optimism for an offense that put up 27 vs. the Eagles after scoring only 30 the previous two games combined.

Take a look at Vikings vs Chargers odds, injury report, betting lines and more.

Seattle Seahawks at Green Bay Packers (-3.5), 4:25 p.m. ET

The Seahawks are excited to get back QB Russell Wilson, who has missed the last three games with a ruptured tendon in his finger. Seattle has gone 1-2 without him before last week’s bye, losing two games each by a FG before drubbing the Jaguars 31-7. Wilson was posting a career-best 125.3 QB rating in 2021.

Aaron Rodgers didn’t play in Week 9 following a COVID diagnosis, and the offense took a nosedive without him in a 13-7 loss to the Chiefs. Rodgers has 17 TDs and one INT over his last seven games, all Packers wins. Green Bay is hopeful he will return for this Week 10 showdown, but it’s not guaranteed. Meanwhile, defense ranks in the top 7 at getting after the QB and eighth in total defense and held Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs to just 237 total yards.

Take a look at Packers vs Seahawks odds, injury report, betting lines and more.

Philadelphia Eagles at Denver Broncos (-2), 4:25 p.m. ET

The Eagles’ run-first strategy kept up with the high-flying Chargers in Week 9, but the defense couldn’t get a stop in a 27-24 home loss. The defense has struggled to get to the QB, ranking 27th in sacks and 25th in QB pressures. The Eagles ran for 176 yards and passed for 155 more as they’ve now scored 21-24 points in four of their last five games.

Teddy Bridgewater out-passed Dak Prescott (on 11 fewer attempts) and Denver rebounded from four sluggish efforts to blow out the powerful Cowboys in Week 9. The score was 30-0 before Dallas added a couple of meaningless late TDs. The offense rushed for 190 yards as well while holding the Cowboys’ second-ranked run offense to only 78 yards. The defense, despite the injuries, ranks in the top 10 vs. the pass and even against the run.

Take a look at Eagles vs Broncos odds, injury report, betting lines and more.

Kansas City Chiefs (-3) at Las Vegas Raiders, 8:20 p.m. ET

The Chiefs defense is a mess, but the offense is just as concerning. Patrick Mahomes has a QB rating under 91 in five of his last six games, and the offense managed just 237 yards in Week 9 vs. the Packers. Fortunately the defense stepped up and stifled Jordan Love in a 13-7 win. It was the defense that was key in Monday’s Week 8 20-17 win over the Giants. KC has beaten Vegas in 11 of the last 13 meetings.

Nobody was sure how the Raiders would respond after Jon Gruden was jettisoned. They started by going 2-0 with 33-34 points. Derek Carr had 664 yards and four TDs in those two games. That was followed, however, by a 23-17 loss to the Giants. Carr had 296 yards but two INTs and only one TD. The Raiders outgained the Giants 403-245 but still lost. Vegas (5-3) remains atop the AFC West standings.

Take a look at Chiefs vs Raiders odds, injury report, betting lines and more.

Monday, Nov. 15

Los Angeles Rams (-4) at San Francisco 49ers, 8:15 p.m. ET

L.A.’s offense took care of the overmatched Texans in Week 8, building a 38-0 lead en route to an easy win. Week 9 took a different turn, as two Matthew Stafford INTs directly led to 14 points in a 28-16 SNF loss to the Titans. Stafford and his top targets padded stats late with the game out of hand, which helped Cooper Kupp already get to over 1,000 receiving yards on the year. He leads the NFL in receptions, yards and TDs.

The 49ers couldn’t slow down a shorthanded Cardinals team in a 31-14 home loss in Week 9. A defense that was allowing 324 yards per game allowed 437 to Colt McCoy and the Cards. Meanwhile, an offense that leaned on the run managed just 39 rushing yards. George Kittle returned from injury and gained 101 yards and a TD on six receptions.

Take a look at Rams vs 49ers odds, injury report, betting lines and more.
