The Baltimore Ravens go for a 10th-straight win and continue their quest for homefield advantage in the AFC when they play host to the New York Jets on Thursday Night Football.

The Ravens have covered in six of the last eight meetings with the Jets and are on a 6-1 against-the-spread run overall. Let’s take a look at some of the best bets fans of NFL betting should consider:

PICK 1: Ravens -14.5

This is a lot of points for any team, and the Jets have won four of five. But they have rarely been competitive against playoff-level competition, going 1-4 (the one win over the Cowboys) with three of the losses by at least 16 points.

The Ravens have won nine straight, and four of the last six have been by at least 17 points each — and against far-stronger competition. New York comes in very banged up as well, which won’t help. The Ravens are on a 7-0 ATS streak against the AFC East.

PICK 2: Under 44.5 Points

5 Jets-Ravens Prop Bets & Betting Lines To Back on TNF 1
Ravens running back Mark Ingram is averaging 4.9 yards a carry this season. He needs 113 yards to reach 1,000 for the season.

Baltimore’s offense has been a juggernaut, but there’s been signs of a letdown against the top-tier units in San Francisco and Buffalo, managing 20 and 24 points.

The Jets have offensive issues but their defense ranks No. 2 against the run and No. 7 overall. They can keep the Ravens down to an extent, and Sam Darnold isn’t likely to light the scoreboard up. The Under is 5-1 in Baltimore’s last six as a home favorite.

PICK 3: First Quarter — Ravens ML

No team gets off to better starts than the Ravens, who are averaging a league-best 8.4 ppg in the opening 15 minutes while allowing just 2.4 ppg, third-fewest. During this Ravens nine-game win streak, they’ve led after one quarter in seven of them and pushed the other two, allowing just 21 total points. The Jets have been outscored by 22 points in the first quarter.

PICK 4: Highest-Scoring Half — First

The Ravens not only rank No. 1 in the NFL in first-quarter scoring, they rank No. 3 in second-quarter scoring. The Jets have scored more in the opening 30 minutes than they have in the second 30, and they’re allowing more points early on, too.

5 Jets-Ravens Prop Bets & Betting Lines To Back on TNF 2
The defense of the Jets ranks No. 2 against the run and No. 7 overall in the NFL.

PICK 5: Halftime/Fulltime — Ravens/Ravens

The price is high, but the expectations are high that Baltimore gets off to a good start and keeps it going.
