The Dallas Cowboys and Washington Football Team are set to meet this week in their first meeting of the season. Both teams are currently in the playoffs (if the season ended today), but each side will want to win the NFC East and host a home playoff game.

Dallas has a two-game lead in the division but has not played particularly well over the last month. Meanwhile, Washington has won four straight games as its defense has really picked up the pace. Can it slow down one of the best offenses in the NFL on Sunday? That remains to be seen.

To get you ready for this NFC East matchup, let’s look at NFL spreads for the game and everything you need to know from an NFL betting perspective along with our NFL picks going into Week 14.

Take a look at Cowboys vs Washington odds, injury report, betting lines and more.

Key Cowboys vs. Washington Matchups

Washington WR Terry McLaurin vs. Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs: McLaurin has been the best offensive player for Washington all year, and he’ll face arguably the league’s most aggressive cornerback in Diggs. This should be a fun battle to watch on Sunday.

Washington RT Cornelius Lucas vs. Cowboys DE Demarcus Lawrence: Lawrence returned to the lineup after a 10-game absence and led Dallas in pressures in Week 13. He should have another favorable matchup against Lucas in Week 14.

Cowboys LG Connor McGovern vs. Washington DT Jonathan Allen: McGovern has replaced Connor Williams in the starting lineup but has struggled in the run game. He’ll have another tough matchup on Sunday against Allen, who is one of the best run-stoppers in the NFL.

5 Key Cowboys vs. Washington Stats

12-4: The Cowboys’ record ATS in their last 16 games.

2: The Washington Football Team’s wins in their last eight home games against Dallas.

29.4: The Cowboys have the No. 2 scoring offense in the NFL, averaging 29.4 points per game.

-51: The Washington Football Team’s point differential this season, despite a 6-6 record.

7-0: The Cowboys’ record ATS in their last seven games against NFC opponents.

Cowboys vs Washington Player Props

Washington RB Antonio Gibson over 66.5 rushing yards

Odds: -110 at DraftKings

Gibson has averaged 23.8 rushing attempts over the last four games. Dallas allows 4.5 yards per carry. It’s not too hard to do the math here and expect a big game from the second-year back on Sunday.

Cowboys WR Amari Cooper over 54.5 receiving yards

Odds: -115 at DraftKings

In five games against Washington (with Dallas), Cooper has averaged over 100 receiving yards per game. He’s healthy and should have a big performance on Sunday.

Cowboys QB Dak Prescott under 287.5 passing yards

Odds: -115 at DraftKings

The offense has been a bit off for the Cowboys for months. They’ll put up points, but don’t expect a huge yardage performance by Prescott.

Cowboys at Washington Moneyline

The Cowboys are clearly the more talented team and they are getting healthy at the right time. However, Washington has been playing extremely well over the last month, and the defense has not allowed more than 21 points in any of their last five games. We’ve seen plenty of upsets all season long, and it would not be a surprise if a home underdog won outright.

While Dallas should win this game, Washington is the better bet here as you can get them at +160 on FanDuel or on most on betting sites. It is worth mentioning that Washington did beat Dallas in both matchups last season, albeit without Dak Prescott.

Cowboys at Washington Point Spread

This is one of the NFL Week 14 odds that has seen a ton of movement over the week. Before the start of Week 13, this line sat at about 5.5 in favor of the Cowboys. Now, that line is at 3.5 on some sportsbooks.

Currently, the odds are -4 at most sportsbooks, which feels about right. This has all the makings of a close game that is likely decided on the final possession. Since we can envision the Washington Football Team winning outright, take Washington at Caesars Sportsbook and expect this to be a field-goal game on Sunday.

Cowboys at Washington Totals

The total for this contest is set at 48 points, which feels high considering how much the Cowboys have struggled on offense over the last month. At one point in the season, they had the league’s No. 1 scoring offense. But it took four turnovers and a pick-6 for them to even reach 27 points in Week 13 against the Saints.

Both teams have fast, aggressive defenses and should be able to make this a defensive battle. Expect this game to be a 24-21 type of contest, so take the UNDER at DraftKings on Sunday.
